After signing Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin, Tottenham will now sign a central midfielder.

This is according to journalist Ben Jacobs, stating that Chelsea would settle for a total payment of around £55 million.

Spurs have not opened talks yet, with Gallagher still keen to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana will arrive on loan at Burnley until the end of the season.

Fofana was called up via Fofana midway through his time at Union Berlin, and will now be immediately sacked for a second loan spell.

Athletic reports that he will undergo a medical in the next 48 hours and Burnley will fully cover Fofana’s salary.

Manchester United have reportedly failed in their first attempt to bring Morten Hjulmand to Old Trafford.

The Sun claimed that United had put forward Facundo Pellistri as part of a transfer deal, but they were told they would have to drop Hjulmand’s £69 million clause.

However, reports published in Portugal suggest that United have not made any official contact and that Sporting do not seem willing to sell.

Chelsea have seen a £52m bid for Benfica defender Antonio Silva rejected.

The Blues are reportedly interested in the 20-year-old as they look to bolster their defence, but Benfica are holding firm.

A Bola claims the Portuguese team will refuse to sell for less than Silva’s £86m release clause, which expires until 2027.

Arsenal are admirers of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, and it will be difficult to reach an agreement in January.

The Telegraph report that Zirkzee is valued at £50million, with eight goals and four assists to his name this season.

The Gunners are considering the 6-foot-4 striker as an alternative option to their existing forwards, but would possibly have to wait until the summer to make a move.

Eric Dier has wished Tottenham “great success” after his nine-and-a-half year spell at the club came to an end.

In a message to Spurs fans after his departure was confirmed, Dier praised the win and spoke of his close bond with the club.

“It’s been a journey,” Dier told the club’s official website.

“The way they beat me as soon as I arrived was unbelievable. One thing that has stuck with me is that everywhere in the world you go, there seem to be so many Tottenham fans and it’s unbelievable. I need only say one thing. Thank you all very much for the help you have shown me.

“I hope they can have wonderful good luck with the club in the future. I’ll monitor them, I’ll be monitoring them, and I expect the same. I hope to see you all soon. “

In signing Yunus Emre Konak, Brentford have beaten a number of Europe’s biggest clubs to the signing of a player many in Turkey see as their country’s brightest young player.

Konak’s deal with Brentford ended on Wednesday, his 18th birthday, after immediate preparation.

League champion with the Sivasspor U-17 team, in September he played with the Turkish U-18 team. In October, with the sub-21.

It’s also fitting that the defensive midfielder hails from Batman’s hometown, given the number of times he has come to Sivasspor’s rescue since making his first-team debut in August.

Only six players in the entire Turkish Super Lig have made more interceptions than Konak this season, and only eight have won more tackles.

Eric Dier has completed his move to Bayern Munich, ending a decade as a Tottenham player.

The defender arrived in Germany to undergo a medical on Thursday and is now officially a Bayern player, having signed on loan for the rest of the season. Bayern have the option to make it a permanent move in the summer.

Dier only made one start with Ange Postecoglou and was out of contract at the end of the campaign.

“This move is a dream come true for me, because as a child you want to play for a club like Bayern one day,” Dier said.

Tottenham have shown the number of new signing Radu Dragusin.

After a saga of mini-moves to start the January window, the Romanian defender has finally completed his important move to Spurs from Serie A side Genoa.

Tottenham reportedly paid £21. 5m upfront for Dragusin, with an additional £4 million, after taking on a beaten challenge from Bayern Munich, who are now signing defender Eric Dier, and interest from their Napoli rivals.

He has signed a contract until the summer of 2029 and could join Ange Postecoglou’s side directly for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Spurs have shown off Dragusin’s No. 6 shirt, which has been vacant since compatriot Davinson Sanchez left after six years at Turkish giants Galatasaray on a permanent contract last summer.

The number was also worn by Dragusin’s compatriot Vlad Chiriches in north London between 2013 and 2015, while Nabil Bentaleb, Tom Huddlestone and Teemu Tainio have also worn the shirt in recent years.

The Saudi Pro League will increase the number of foreign players allowed in the competition, expanding the limit from 8 to ten.

However, The Mail reports that this will most likely come with an age restriction rule, with clubs focusing on the ability of the world’s youngsters.

Having recruited many big-name stars towards the end of their careers, Saudi Arabia’s leaders are keen to lure younger players into the league.
