The Premier League and EFL have announced that a 10-week window will open between July 27 and October 5. There will be an additional national window when Premier League clubs can negotiate exclusively with EFL clubs from 5 to 16 October.

The move-in window in Germany is now open, Spain opens in August and Italy before 1 September, all close on October 5, the same day as in England.

Freddie Woodman is back at Swansea on loan for a Newcastle season after a 19/20 win between the clubs with the Welsh ensemble.

Woodman has to identify himself as Newcastle’s first-choice goalkeeper after signing a new three-year contract.

The 23-year-old, whose most recent contract is an extension option, will return next season at the Sky Bet Championship.

Woodman told NUFC TV: “This is wonderful news for me. I can see the long term and be a Newcastle player. It’s wonderful that the club is dedicated to me and I can stay there for another 3 years, which is huge.”

“I see myself as a Newcastle player and my ultimate purpose is to be Newcastle number one, so I can do it.

Woodman won the Under-20 World Cup with England in 2017 and the Under-21 trained with Gareth Southgate’s senior team.

Manchester United winger Tahith Chong has signed a one-season contract with Werder Bremen.

The Dutch U-21 foreigner did not sign a new contract at Old Trafford until March, keeping it under contract with United until June 2022, with the option of extending the contract for one year.

Chong first moved to England four years ago since Feyenoord and has progressed on the sidelines of the first team, passing the next crusade in Germany.

Vladimir Ivic has been appointed Watford’s head coach on a one-year contract.

The 43-year-old Serb, whose contract has a 12-month option, replaces Nigel Pearson, who left Vicarage Road in July before the Hornets were relegated from the Premier League.

“First of all, from the beginning, I expect a lot from myself and my training team,” Ivic said on the club’s website.

“This is my first time in England and I have to adapt as temporarily as possible, making the club as productive as possible is very for me.

“I’ve been running with my training team for three years, so I know we’re going to ask us the most so we can help the players achieve the club’s goals.”

Striker Lyle Taylor has joined Nottingham Forest on a loose transfer.

Sheffield Wednesday has made defence Chey Dunkley his summer signing.

The 28-year-old joined wednesday before the Owls return for the preseason later this week.

Dunkley made more than a hundred league appearances for Wigan after joining them from Oxford in 2017, but was released earlier this summer.

Angus MacDonald left Hull after his contract expired with him.

The 27-year-old advocate, who made an inspiring comeback this year after being diagnosed with bowel cancer, joined the Barnsley Tigers in January 2018.

Albian Ajeti says he had enough opportunities at West Ham before signing a four-year contract with Celtic.

The 23-year-old Swiss striker has joined the Hoops so the Palestinian Authority’s news firm estimates at 4.5 million pounds after making 12 appearances in a year with Londoners.
