Six thousand Newcastle United fans visited Wearside this morning.
Of those, 720 made their way to the Black Cats Bar.
As we showed (see below) in The Mag on Friday, Sunderland, for once, are appropriating the credit for promoting their stadium rather than a big Premier League club.
Instead of the same £65 that Sunderland fans are charged at the Black Cats Bar as part of a ticket package.
Prices for Newcastle United fans have risen to £535 per year, with a charge of £600. The extra is justified by six free drinks and a buffet meal served that the vast majority of Newcastle United’s 720 supporters would have to eat status.
Now, the rest of Newcastle United fans have discovered that they are in the crosshairs.

So what do Newcastle enthusiasts get for their £535?
Well, it all boils down to a mysterious ‘free’ gift, a Newcastle United ‘legend’ including six drinks, snacks (canapés) at the entrance and a three-course buffet.
Understand this, though: even paying £535 more for a few drinks and anything to eat, most of Newcastle United’s 720 enthusiasts don’t even get the chance to eat!
It’s outrageous to charge other people £60o for a fitness ticket, a few drinks and a meal to eat.
