Swansea City manager Steve Cooper faces a war with at least 8 Premier League clubs to secure Liverpool ace Rhian Brewster for next season as he seeks to provide reinforcements after Swansea’s 7–1 defeat at Southampton.
Cooper knows his team wants strength of purpose for the next league crusade 2020-21 and has two more games to get things right for the season opener at Preston on September 12.
Their swans will face Forest Green on Tuesday, September 1, and then face Newport County on Saturday, September 5 at the League Cup.
Cooper expects a fortune he saw on the south coast on Saturday when Southampton mutinied in a 7–1 win at St Mary’s Stadium.

But newcomer Leeds to the Premier League is part of an excess of clubs in a position to offer Brewster normal high-level football next season, which can be a blow to Cooper’s Swans planning.
Sheffield United, who are the favorites for the signing of Brewster, and Aston Villa are two others known to have expressed interest.
Newcastle, Burnley, Brighton, Crystal Palace and newly promoted Fulham have contacted Liverpool to inquire about Brewster.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had intentionally sent Brewster to Gini Wijnaldum just before the start of the penalty shootout and as surprised as anyone when the young man was not right.
However, Klopp threw a protective arm around Brewster afterwards, saying, “It would possibly not harm Rhian. If there’s anyone to blame, it’s me, because I’ve made that decision.
“I took Out Wijnaldum and put him on penalties. We were looking for him to be in that position because I know he’s naturally confident and a real finisher.
“Its consequences are very good, but not this time. It happens in football. No problem. Pick it up, there’s nothing to apologize for. It’s football, no problem. “
“I don’t forget he’s been missing a penalty since we were together, but it happened. Managing defeats in football is a very, very vital lesson and we are not perfect. “
Klopp is thinking about Brewster. Maybe he’s just a substitute player in Liverpool’s name defense, lend it to the Swans or some other league club, or let a Premier League club take him away for the season.
It is idea that the last option is maximum maximum probably in what would be a blow for Cooper and his swans. But a maximum part of the department needs Brewster and the opportunity to play in the Premier League will please him.
If Brewster proves he can score at this level, Klopp would return him to Liverpool’s fold for the 2021–22 campaign.
