London (AFP) – Swansea City has signed Dutch winger Luciano Narsingh from PSV Eindhoven for four million pounds (four.9 million dollars, four.6 million euros), Premier League wrestlers announced Thursday.

The 26-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and became Paul Clement’s first signing since taking over as coach Bob Bradley this month.

Narsingh’s right foot has been decided 16 times across Holland and can play on both flanks.

“It’s simple for me to say yes to Swansea,” Narsingh told the club’s website.

“I’ve been watching the Premier League for two or three years and Swansea is still betting smart football. That’s why, when Swansea picked me up, I knew I wanted to play here.”

Narsingh spent time in the mythical youth organization of Ajax and scored at the Heerenveen before joining the PSV, where he won the name of the Eredivisie in 2015 and 2016.

“I am very pleased that Luciano joined us, ” said Clement. “He’s a player the club knew before my arrival, but I’m more than satisfied with the agreement.

“He has pace, he can score goals and enjoys the game at a smart level. He has been a Dutch champion several times and has played in the Champions League. He’s a smart player.”

Swansea, at the bottom of the table, will meet Arsenal on Saturday, but Narsingh will be named due to a minor calf injury.
