Bologna may be about to make plans for life after Sydney van Hooijdonk as the striker’s links to Celtic refuse to fade.

The son of former Hoops star Pierre has reportedly been the subject of “investigations” by Brendan Rodgers’ men as the Irishman looks to respond to a looming crisis in his attacking arm ahead of the new year.
