Former Juventus star Alessio Tacchinardi is urging control to retain Matias Soulé, even if it means promoting Gleison Bremer.
This season, the 20-year-old Argentine has been one of Serie A’s revelations. After arriving on loan at Frosinone, he established himself as the club’s greatest talisman.
On Friday, he thrilled soccer fans around the world with an outrageous goal in a friendly match between Argentina U23 and Mexico U23.
As such, Tacchinardi insists Juventus will have to give the young winger a vital role next season rather than sacrificing him for financial reasons.
“I saw and saw Soulé’s goal again with Argentina U-23s. It was magical,” said the former Juventus and Italy midfielder in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via IlBianconero.
“His repertoire is full of incredible hits. Matias is a talent, he just keeps going to show his combination of technique, mental vision and unpredictability.
“No, I would never sell him, because there are few players like him. And he who possesses them will have to hold them strong or make his suitors pay their weight in gold. “
Tacchinardi is aiming for a super attack with Soulé joining Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Chiesa and, in all likelihood, even Kenan Yildiz.
“If I were Juventus, I would bring the Argentinian house this summer and plan an attack. I’m thinking of a trident with Soulè on the right, Vlahovic in the middle and Chiesa on the left.
“Or maybe a 4-2-3-1 with the addition of Yildiz Dusan and two players forged in midfield to ensure balance.
“The team has to make a clear decision. If the idea is to continue with Allegri’s current 3-5-2, finding space for Soulé will be tricky and then we’ll monetize his farewell as best we can.
“But the same goes for Chiesa, which has its herbaceous habitat on its flank. Only Yildiz can be comfortable in this set-up, as he is smart playing with the centre-forward.
“But with those strikers I expect Juventus to replace their long-term playing formula to make the most of their abundant potential.
“Abandoning Soulé may turn into regret for years to come, much like Coman did in the past. “
But if Juventus insist on increasing the budget by promoting some of their top assets, the 48-year-old suggests getting rid of Gleison Bremer, who has offers from the Premier League.
“I would like all the strikers to remain young and talented. But if I have to make a sacrifice to balance the books, I’d rather sell Bremer to England.
“In his place I would put Huijsen, who in his loan to Roma shows that he has all the qualities of the defender of the future. “
I agree, keep all the teenagers and replace Allegi, that youngster is not capable for Juventus, petiod!
