Tallinn Music Week (TMW) music and culture festival is expected to take up positions at the end of August at stalls in the capital. The occasion moved from its classic spring calfinishar due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The occasion will adhere to regulations for public occasions, as it appears at the end of August. At the time of writing, the occasions are limited to 2,000 attfinishees, with indoor events to a capacity of 1,500 or 50%, ending in the smaller of the two.
Organizers say that audience dispersion and capacity limits will be monitored to allow social distance, and that other people who tested positive for coronavirus in the last 14 days, as well as those who have symptoms or who have been in close contact with other inflamed people. in the last two days. weeks, entry will be banned.
The occasion begins on Thursday, August 27 at four o’clock in the afternoon. at the atrium of Viru Keskus, with performances through the Estonian folk-electro duo Puuluup and the independent Latvian rockers Carnival Youth. Viru Keskus hosts six live concerts in the festival city, adding two British artists, singer and producer Chinchilla and post-punk band Strange Idols.
On Saturdays, the occasions take place in Lasname and Kopli, a co-production with the Koplifest network festival, which takes place in a former rubber factory.
The Nordic Hotel Forum houses an intimate suite through award-winning Finnish urban artist Jesse Markin and the esplanade of the Telia headquarters houses the Estonian supergroup Gram-of-Fun on opening day.
Port Noblessner and Telliskivi Creative City, adding the Pahjala Tap Room, are home to Estonian and overseas artists such as Sveta Baar and the Velvet design office.
A TMW data table is open from Monday 24 August until the end of the festival, near the front of Tammsaare Park in Viru Keskus. Passholders can collect wristbands and get general assistance on the festival program.
The city’s concerts are loose and open to all ages.

TMW 2020 is presented through Telia and the festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Cultural Foundation, Tallinn City Culture Department, Tallinn City Business Department and Enterprise Estonia (EAS). TMW’s activities are also supported by the budget of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
