The Bucs (9-5) have won back-to-back games since their Week Thirteen break, adding a livid 31-27 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in which Quarterback Tom Brady threw for 390 yards and two affected. Leonard Fournette is expected to have a week as a Tampa Bay runner and Ronald Jones is yet to return with a damaged finger and a season on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The Lions (5-9) were removed from the playoffs after Sunday’s loss to the Tennessee Titans. After the game, special group coordinator Brayden Coombs was fired for calling a false kick to clear the wisdom of interim head coach Darrell Bevell. facing a primary outbreak of COVID-19 that will have five apprentices, adding Bevell, not available for the game. Receiver coach Robert Prince has been appointed interim head coach.
