Taylor Swift has become a cult icon at Brazilian football giant Corinthians after club enthusiasts discovered that his team never loses the moment he releases a new album.
Swift released her ninth studio album “Evermore” on Friday, and Corinthians temporarily beat rivals Sao Paolo 1-0 on Sunday.
Following the match, follower Timao Dados presses on Twitter that the club had never lost its last game before the release date of one Taylor Swift album, or the next.

The love story dates back to October 2006 when Corinthians recorded 1-0 victories over Cruzeiro and Palmeiras in any aspect of Swift’s self-titled debut album.
Since then, the Brazilian national team has played 16 matches more similar to the releases of Swift’s albums and has not lost a single one.
Swift is temporarily a meme among Corinthians fans, fans photoshop her in the club uniform and the club itself is even getting involved.
On Sunday, Corinthians’ official Twitter account tweeted a word from “Champagne Problems,” one of the songs from “Evermore,” along with a message affirming the team’s dominance over rivals Sao Paolo.

Corinthians and his enthusiasts hope their fortunate relationship with Swift will continue. After all, it’s great to have a friend.
