Ange Postecoglou reports that Djed Spence is a doubt for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (2pm UK).
After starting eight of our previous 11 games, the versatile defender was ineligible for our UEFA Europa League victory against Hoffenheim in Germany on Thursday evening.
However, Angel revealed Friday morning that Djed hit our last departure from the Premier League opposite to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday and is now in doubt for Sunday throughout Pape Kill Sarr E Yves Bongouma.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Hotspur Way, Ange said: “Djed is still sore from the weekend and is a doubt for this weekend, he got a knock (against Everton), he’s a doubt. Pape’s still a doubt. Reggy (Sergio Reguilon) should be okay.”
DJED, Sergio, Antonin Kinsky and Yang Min-Hyeok were not eligible for Hoffenheim. Pape failed after suffering an injury at Goodison Park.
