According to Jaylon Thompson of 247Sports, the Aggies winger Blake Smith wrote the following in a tweet deleted since Texas got the most productive quarterback of 2022, Quinn Ewers: “Congratulations, brother, ad solving and if I’m a WR/TE … I’d have interaction there with him. Just say it.”
Ewers announced Friday that he will play school football for the Longhorns starting in 2022. This resolution is a great win for the show because 247Sports classifies him as a 5-star contender and the player of his class.
The ultimate logical explanation for Smith’s tweet is that he has an appointment with Ewers and is satisfied by his friend. Smith is a newcomer to Texas A-M. He played with Ewers at Southlake Carroll High School for the past two years.
But there’s more salt in the wound for Aggies enthusiasts who last month saw their football team get a year’s probation and head coach Jimbo Fisher won a six-month justification warrant for NCAA recruitment violations.
