Could Texas Tech one of the most productive groups on Big 12 next season?
On ESPN’s list of winners and losers of the school basketball moving season, Texas Tech has performed well thanks to quality replays.
Here’s what ESPN Jeff Borzello said about the Red Raiders:
Chris Beard has secured key moves in each of the more than two years, however, he could have had his most productive organization this spring. He has won commitments from Mac McClung (Georgetown) and Marcus Santos-Silva (VCU), any of whom hopes to be eligible to play without delay, and has also selected the Wichita State movement, Jamarius Burton, as an option not to participate. . Santos-Silva graduated from VCU this month, so he will be able to leave without delay, while McClung expects a resignation. McClung and Santos-Silva would be two of the 10 most sensitive movements eligible without delay and would probably start immediately for the Red Raiders.
While McClung declared himself for the 2020 NBA Draft in March, he nevertheless made the decision to continue his school career and move to Texas Tech. Base 6-2 averaged 15.7 problems and 2.4 assists in 21 games at the time of the year before a foot injury derailed his season.
McClung ranks third on ESPN’s eligible waiting list for the 2021–22 season, while Santos-Silva is fifth. If the duo is going to play next season, it will provide an indispensable guard intensity, as the most sensitive goalscorers, Jahmi’us Ramsey and Davide Moretti, have selected respectively to participate in the draft and play professionally in Italy.
The Red Raiders finished the 2019-20 season shortened with an overall record of 18-13 and No. 6 in the Big 12. The team was scheduled to face Texas in the first circular of the convention tournament before the rest of the season was canceled. due to the coronavirus pandemic.
