Although Manchester United have made some mistakes in recent years, they still have some very talented players in their ranks.
Erik ten Hag enjoyed a debut season in 2022/23 as United ended their trophy drought and finished third in the Premier League.

Ten Hag’s secured his signing after agreeing to pay Inter Milan an initial payment of €51 million and an additional €4 million in additional potential.
The 27-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best ball-playing goalkeepers in the world, but he has made a number of high-profile errors this season.
Despite his initial struggles at Old Trafford, Onana is still the joint-most valuable goalkeeper in the Premier League alongside Manchester City’s Ederson.

He enjoyed a brilliant debut season at Old Trafford in 2022/23 and scored the opening goal in the Carabao Cup final over Newcastle United.
But the 31-year-old, who is the oldest player on that list, is not a long-term investment for United and has struggled to remain compatible in 2023/24.
TEAMtalk understands that United are willing to let Casemiro leave in the January transfer window and will recoup €58m.

“I can see his qualities, feel the fans he brings, how competitive he is and he has an incredible left foot,” Luke Shaw said.
