USC Trojans newly hired running backs coach Anthony Jones Jr. has made his first offer at his new position. This offer was made to Daune Morris, a Murfeesboro, Tennessee, local of Oakland High School.

The 2025 running back hails from Chattanooga, where Jones made his debut with the Mocs at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga (UTC).

Morris is a 5-9, 190-pound guard. He’s in his third-best school in three years, but he’s been productive in his career. Morris had a monster season as a junior, totaling 1,913 yards with 28 touchdowns on an average of 9. 8 yards per carry. He also threw 46 passes for 565 yards and 3 touchdowns.

USC joins a list of donations that includes Auburn, Missouri, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Texas A

Morris is ranked 428th overall and the No. 23 athlete, according to 247Sports Composite. He’s the 63rd athlete in the 247Sports rankings and he’s playing it safe too. We’ll see if Anthony Jones Jr. can win that first USC. vocation.

I’m very lucky to get an offer from the University of Southern California ⚪️??@AnthonyJonesFB @FightOn2Victory @uscfootball @uscfb @CoachCreasy_OHS @OHSPatsFootball @supermax100_ @SeanW_Rivals @smsbacademy pic. twitter. com/DJohLN8wfT
