The Berlin driving force that wounded 7 of them in a car registered in Estonia is a citizen of KosovoArrayArrayArray

The driving force of a car that hit pedestrians in Berlin on Sunday morning, injuring seven people, was a Kosovar citizen driving a vehicle with Estonian license plates. The driving force was intoxicated, according to Postimees Daily Reports.

Berlin police spokesman Martin Helweg told Postimees (link in Estonian) that the motive forces a 24-year-old from Kosovo, with a German apartment permit and a permanent apartment searched outdoors in the capital.

The incident took place in the Charlottenburg district of the German capital, near the Bahnhof Zoo metro station, shortly after 7am local Sunday time, and the government said some of the pedestrians run over by the vehicle, a Mercedes SUV, were severely array requiring the use of a rescue helicopter, German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported.

One of the injured reportedly trapped under the vehicle as a result of the incident.

Other main points on the cases of the incident shall be determined.

The driving force arrested at the scene on Sunday and proceedings by criminals are ongoing

It is close to where 11 died just before Christmas 2016, when a radical Islamist drove a truck into a Christmas market.
