After all, the Kansas City Chiefs are star cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.
The Chiefs are reportedly finalizing a deal that would send Sneed to the Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Kansas City would get a third-round pick in 2025 and an industry of seventh-round picks in 2024.
Trade: The Chiefs are finalizing a deal to send franchise CB L’Jarius Snead to the Titans, according to league sources.

The deal comes after a business deal with the Titans fell hours earlier. The two sides failed to agree on a long-term extension. This factor seems to have been resolved as Sneed is also expected to sign a new contract with Tennessee.
The Chiefs used the franchise tag on Sneed earlier this month in hopes of signing him to a long-term extension, but given the distance between the two sides in a new deal, a trade is imminent.
While not yet part of a single All-Pro or Pro Bowl team, Sneed is considered by many to be one of the most productive cornerbacks in the league. The 27-year-old is one of the pillars of the Chiefs. He was a much-vaunted defense last season and has played a pivotal role in his last two Super Bowl runs.
Sneed’s 78 combined tackles are tied for third among the Chiefs in 2023. He led the team with two interceptions.
