According to Besiktas reporter Safak Malatya, as covered in the Diyagonal Turkish news, Besiktas is taking action for Arsenal striker Reiss Nelson.
Malatya claims that Besiktas reached an agreement with former Arsenaldelate Chuba Akpom and, in conversations with his agents, reportedly said they cared about Nelson.
Besiktas is reportedly hand-held as Elite Project Group’s assistant in connection with the signing of the young Arsenal. The Turkish look is going to attract a giant striker this summer and Nelson turns out to be an option at this point in the window.
The 20-year-old English winger, who ceded the 2018/19 season to Hoffenheim bundesliga, played 17 Premier League games in Mikel Arteta’s last season, scoring one goal.
Malatya says Besiktas must give in to the player for a year and that the talks continue.
Nelson’s contract with the Gunners will expire at the end of June 2023.
