The day the Formula One Dukes arrived at the christening of long-term world champion Damon Hill

This photo taken almost 60 years ago and the boy who dresses as a christening is Formula One world champion Damon Hill.

The scene, from July 1961, is located in the hill circle of the relatives’ house at 32 Parkside, Mill Hill, London NW7, and are the dukes of motorsport.

Hill’s father, Graham Hill, won two world championships before his son won the name in 1996.
