The Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League matches will be decided on Monday, December 18, with seven British clubs awaiting their fate.

Holders Manchester City, and Arsenal, won their groups to reach the Champions League last 16, but Newcastle, Manchester United and Scottish champions Celtic dropped out of Europe entirely.

In the Europa League, Brighton, Liverpool, Rangers and West Ham have qualified for the round of 16.

And in the Europa Conference League, Aston Villa will be in the round of 16, Aberdeen are absent after finishing third in Group G.

BBC Sport informs you about the draws.

The draw for the Champions League round of 16 will take place on Monday, December 18 at 11:00 GMT in Nyon, Switzerland.

Each winner of the organization will be ranked and drawn against a team that finished second in some other organization, not all of which are qualified. Teams cannot select a club from the same country or a team that is in the same organization as them.

The first legs of the round of 16 will be played over two weeks, on 13 and 14 and 20 and 21 February 2024, and the second legs on 5, 6 and 12 and 13 March.

The quarter-final and semi-final draws will be held in combination on Friday 15 March.

Top favourites: Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad.

Unqualified: Copenhagen, Inter Milan, Lazio, RB Leipzig, Napoli, Paris St-Germain, Porto, PSV Eindhoven.

The Europa League Round draw will take place one hour after the Champions League Round draw on Monday 18th December at 12:00 GMT in Nyon, Switzerland.

Each Europa League organisational level finalist will be selected and selected in opposition to the organisations that finished third at the Champions League organisational levels, all of which are unqualified. Teams select a club from the same country.

The 8 finalists in the Europa Conference League organising stages will be seeded and drawn against the organisations that finished third in the Europa League organisation stages, all of which are unqualified. Teams select a club from the same country.

As in the Europa League, the 8 winners of the organizations advance directly to the knockout stages, where they will be qualified against the 8 winners of the knockout stages. Again, organizations select a club from the same country.

The first legs of the play-offs will be played on 15 February 2024, with the second legs on 22 February.

The draw for the round of 16 will take place on 23 February, the first legs on 7 March and the second legs on 14 March.
