The failure of Tottenham Gedson Fernandes sought through Marseille Benfica’s summer transfer to upgrade Olivier Ntcham

The FLOp TOTTENHAM Gedson Fernandes has reportedly been selected through Marseille to upgrade Oliver Ntcham.

Celtic star Ntcham has been ceded to the French team since January, but is expected to return to Scotland this summer after a debatable move in which former chief Andre Villas Boas revealed he needed the player.

And Fotomac reports that Fernandes de Benfica, lately on loan at Galatasary, is the known goal to update him in Jorge Sampaoli’s team.

The typhoon surrounding Ntcham’s arrival caused former Spurs and Chelsea coach Villas-Boas to resign at a press convention before being fired by the club after a dispute with the board that sanctioned the move as his blessing.

But Ntcham did little else with former Argentine technician Sampaoli, making an appearance.

French reports recommend that the ace return to the Hoops when his transitority movement ends at the end of the season.

And the report that Marseille is “dissatisfied” with him and is already putting Fernandes in line to keep him up to date.

The first would have taken position with the parent club Benfica, which would be open for sale by the midfielder.

Fernandes has scored a goal in matches of all competitions for the Turkish giants since reaching the end of the January play window.

And that’s not enough to convince Galatasaray that it’s worth signing more permanently.

The Spurs canceled Fernandes’ 18-month loan agreement before this year after failing to live up to expectations without a purpose commitment in 14 appearances.

Tottenham had the option to buy the star last summer for 42 million pounds, but rejected the move, Fernandes never started a Premier League match and remained in north London.

Benfica sent him back on loan to Turkey, but after hiring Covid-19, Fernandes had to fly in an ambulance to complete the deal on time.
