The Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), through its symbol in English, ruled in favor of the former Uruguayan national team footballer Gastón Silva because of the not easy that the full-back had years ago in the independence of Avellaneda.
The court’s decision is due to the “non-compliance of the debt of the angels” of the club that organized the largest Copa Libertadores in the Americas: seven.
The roses of Avellaneda will be combined with Uruguay and now, they will have to pay him.
The pro-independence debt amounts to $1,650,000, plus a penalty of 15% per year since December 10 that rises to $330,000.
If the Avellaneda club still does not have that figure from this autumn that is undefeated, it will be to not sign players in the next 3 weeks of transfers.
Gastón Silva arrived at Independiente on August 31, 2017, last year from Granada in Spain, and then played in Turin of Italy, before the departure of Defensor Sporting, who underwent surgery as a footballer.
With Avellaneda, he has been champion of the 2017 Copa Sudamericana and the 2018 Suruga Bank Cup.
Beyond it, he left on bad terms with the leaders of the club, for the debts they had contracted with him.
Now independent, you have forty-five days to pay the Uruguayan’s debt.
