The new Bernabéu in six questions

The refurbishment of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium continues as Real Madrid helps maintain speed with its ambitious project.

The objective of the club and the structuring company, PCC, is to prepare the new Bernabéu to run in the summer of 2022.

With the increasing speed of work, it is now on the roof of the new stadium, car parks and east stand facade.

Meanwhile, the towers on the west side of the stadium are progressing well, with the structure designers adding the finishing touches.

However, there are still some questions about the new Bernabéu unanswered.

Real Madrid has published many important points about its new field, but the composition of the costumes remains unknown, will it be more circular? Will there be a warm-up room?

What we do know is that the front of the players will be replenished because the team coach will now pass through the old parking lot of the Corner of Bernabeu, which Father Damian.

The design of the grandstands and the capacity of the stadium will remain practically the same in the new Bernabéu, but we know what the real seats will look like.

There is expected to be more room for enthusiasts in their seats. The seats themselves are new, but the one with those new seats is about to be cleared.

It is very likely that the seats will remain blue, as in the old Bernabéu, but there may be diversity of colors, adding purple, white and yellow.

There will be no mega hotel in the new Bernabéu, there will possibly be a smaller and sumptuous one.

In the early plans, there would be a hotel with rooms overlooking the gardens, but this was governed by the local council.

MARCA revealed that there would be two masses in the new Bernabéu, although the mechanics of the operation are still unknown.

The concept is to have a general turf field for football, but to keep it in good condition, the surface will be used for non-sporting occasions, such as concerts.

The first estimates that Real Madrid will earn 150 million euros more according to the year with the new Bernabéu than with the old one.

This figure would possibly, of course, have been replaced as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, but if everything is general until the summer of 2022, it will be more accurate.

Although the new Bernabéu will probably have no sponsor in his name, Real Madrid does not lack offers.

First, Ipic intended to take over the naming rights of the new Bernabéu, but, after the case reached the courts, the plans were abandoned.

Until the stadium is in operation, Los Blancos will take into account all the donations they have on the table, because an agreement on naming rights for such a famous stadium would bring them some income.
