Tottenham Hotspur kicked off their pre-season program on Wednesday night with Scottish side Hearts.
Spurs finished fifth in the Premier League table last season, qualifying for the Europa League, and will be keen to impress on four fronts this season.
In fact, things went well and Tottenham took charge at Tynecastle, claiming a comprehensive 5-1 victory over Steven Naismith’s side.
Spurs fans enjoyed a solid performance from their side, with several marginal players giving an excellent account of themselves.
In fact, one player in particular has been none other than Tottenham legend Harry Kane.

The player in question is Will Lankshear, who has been very good for Spurs in the academy since arriving from Sheffield United in 2022.
The 19-year-old forward has 30 goals and five assists in 39 games for Tottenham at the under-18, under-19 and under-21 levels.
And on Wednesday night, Lankshear made an impressive appearance for Spurs, coming on at half-time and scoring a very good effort to make it 2-1.
Djed Spence split the Hearts defense with a superbly weighted ball to Lankshear, who finished clinically with a low effort off the post.

Brennan Johnson opened the scoring for Tottenham in the minute, before Lawrence Shankland equalised early in the second half.
Lankshear restored Spurs’ lead in the 55th minute, before Mikey Moore and Djed Spence scored in the 66th and 72nd minutes to give them a commanding lead.
An own goal from Lewis Neilson five minutes from time added gloss to the Lilywhites’ scoreline.
Tottenham’s next pre-season will take place this Saturday when they face Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road at 3pm.
