Don’t look now, but the Premier League might just have gotten a little more metal. That’s because Ivan Juric has been named as the new manager of the Southampton Football Club, hoping to right their path after a dreadful start to the current season.
During Juric’s opening press conference, the new manager was asked about his love of metal. “When I was young, I liked death metal music a lot and it’s something my style of football is a lot like,” he told reporters, having previously compared death metal to the team’s “high-pressing style.”

Juric has signed an 18-month contract to succeed Russell Martin as Southampton Football Club. The Saints are recently sitting at the back of the Premier League in 20th position with only 6 problems on the season.
