For NFC, you are also open to learning from anywhere in the world. And the first NFC shutdown? The sacred halls of Ajax’s Toekomest.
On Sunday, May 7, the NFC sent five coaches to participate in the Ajax Coaches Academy as part of the Ajax Partnerclub’s end-of-season event. Analyze the performance of the players.
It wasn’t just technical, noted Martijn Frinking, one of NFC’s J08 coaches and trainers:
“Ajax also takes into account physical and intellectual facets, such as coordination, balance, speed and endurance. It encourages players to incorporate exclusive qualifications and talents into their game. This helps them adapt and succeed in difficult situations.
Of course, the big picture wants the main points to work. Abhishek Saxena, NFC 10-1 coach and trainer, commented:
“Great visions are great, but having a granular attitude and a clear step-by-step technique to achieve those visions is something that needs to be informed by Ajax. Whether it’s educational drills or exploring a player, Ajax has a plan!”
NFC coaches had the ability to design and implement their own detailed education on the field. On paper, design education is easy, said Alexander Athanassiou, who coaches NFC U10/11 goalkeepers. The most difficult component is helping others perceive and make the right decisions. decisions themselves.
NFC’s participation in the Ajax Coaching Academy is a big step forward for the club. It was born out of NFC’s partnership with Ajax, formalized in February 2023.
Michael Zhang, NFC U11 supervisor, who also participated in the discussion among the nerships, noted:
“Youth is the lineage of Ajax and the NFC, without them there is no future. Ajax’s NFC sees price in a colorful foreign network, while Ajax’s NFC experience in scouting and rising young players. This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for the NFC to think big about new opportunities. “
As NFC looks to the future, it sees an opportunity to leverage Ajax’s expertise. George Visser, NFC’s Director of Youth Education, explained:
“The NFC stores Ajax’s coaching philosophy with ball control, quick handling, forward passes and, most importantly, a strong mentality. We can now access the Ajax Coaches Academy and integrate those learnings into our curriculum and our coaches’ plans and schemes.
And so, the old wisdom prevails: to play smart football, start through the education of smart coaches. And as NFC’s partnership with Ajax grows, the club is confident that it can build on those learnings and its own coaches, coaches and players realise its footballing potential.
