Here at The Northern Echo, we’ve always prided ourselves on providing the best possible coverage of Sunderland. Sometimes, though, we’ve wanted to do more.

So, to mark the start of 2024, we’ve launched a new standalone website – We Are Sunderland – that will take our ability to cover the Black Cats to a whole new level.

The new We Are Sunderland website is available on www. wearesunderland. com.

With a new team of committed writers in Sunderland, as well as the expertise of our existing football writers at The Northern Echo, We Are Sunderland is the new home with a hobby for the club.

It will be different from The Northern Echo’s online page, as it will only be about Sunderland. We’ll have reporters in every game, but instead of generating the same old reports, they’ll dig into the main topics or issues related to the Adjust and produce a lot of audio and video content.

There will be full-length interviews and exclusive articles, as well as knowledge research items and tactical briefings. There will be chronicles from former players and fan groups. There will also be a daily video on a committed YouTube channel, We Are Sunderland, at 9. 30am. m. m. morning to discuss the day’s events with a variety of special guests.

We Are Sunderland is a subscription site, with a special introductory offer of just £1 for premium access over the next six months. Subscribers will get an exclusive newsletter with tailored features and analytics, as well as a roundup of the latest news.

The Northern Echo will continue to publish its same long-standing policy on Sunderland, whether online or in print, but We Are Sunderland is a new company with the logo and we’re very excited about the perspective it brings to the way we tell and interact with it. Sunderland fans.

Check it out. . . and Ha’way the Lads!
