Juventus are facing a resolution over Arthur Melo’s long career this summer, with Fiorentina expected to release him in Turin despite the option to sign him permanently.
Arthur has enjoyed a resurgence of his popularity in Florence, but that doesn’t guarantee he will return to grace at Juve, especially if Max Allegri remains the Old Lady’s coach.
The Brazilian midfielder has thrived at Fiorentina and La Viola are keen to keep him. However, his high salaries allow him to pay the fees necessary to make his signing permanent at the end of this term.
Juve are satisfied with his performances and look forward to him in a new home at the end of the season.
Unsurprisingly, he is already attracting interest from Portugal, with Benfica adding. The Portuguese club are following him closely this season. A report from Tuttomercatoweb suggests that they will compete with Fiorentina to sign him if the Serie A side renegotiate their previous deal with Juve.

Arthur’s recovery is a reality and we expect the midfielder to find a new home at the end of the season.
We may not sell it at a very high price, but we will soon have a good opportunity to get rid of it the smart way.
