Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr is calling on Endrick to “listen to all of us” so that he can “arrive as prepared as possible” at the La Liga club after his summer transfer.
Endrick inspired Brazil’s U-17 team in 2022, when he scored five goals in four games. He was temporarily promoted to the first team and recently reached a milestone: his first senior goal in Brazil.
It happened in the 1-0 win over England and made the 17-year-old the youngest male player to score a goal at Wembley.
He is already on his way to Real Madrid this summer, with 11 goals in 31 Brazilian Serie A games in 2023, highlighting his prospects as a superstar.
His teammate in Brazil and soon at La Real, Vinicius Jr, pleaded with the youngster that the most productive way to continue progressing is to assimilate what his teammates tell him, so that he arrives at La Real in a position to face the world.
“I pay attention to the older players, I’ve evolved a lot by paying attention to everyone,” Vinicius said.
“I hope that Endrick, who is a wonderful player and a wonderful person, will continue to pay attention to all of us. And we also pay attention to him, who has the delight of communicating with us. I hope he can continue to expand, arrive as prepared as possible and help us at Real Madrid.
“May he continue to gain confidence to help us in the national team, help his club which is Palmeiras and continue to evolve.
“He’s 17 years old and his whole career is ahead of him. I hope everyone can see it.
Vinicius himself signed for Real Brazil when he was young (18) and he is still young at 23, he has learned a lot and has put it into practice in recent seasons.
The winger is now considered one of the attacking players in world football: he scored 23 goals and provided 20 assists in all competitions last season, and this season he has 18 goals and 8 assists.
Endrick hopes to succeed at a similar point to his compatriot in a while’s time after completing his move to Real this summer (when he turns 18) and listening to someone who has walked the same path is actually a smart way to do it.
