This emblematic piece through the Marseille trio that makes up arriba (LA) HORDE, Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer, Arthur Harel, will be revived in another form at the Château d’If, in collaboration with the Centre des Monuments Nationales that manages the place, on May 8 as part of the Cultural program The Olympiad and the arrival of the Olympic flame in Marseille: It will be materialized through twenty dancers from the Grenade organization, six dancers from the Ballet and 11 scholarship holders from the National School of Dance of Marseille (ENDM).
“With its island location, fortified architecture, and history, the Château d’If is an enduring place that remarkably resonates with the narrative of The Room with a View,” explains the National Ballet of Marseille. This emblematic castle expresses a long-suffering confinement and an imaginable and dreamed getaway embodied in the horizon of the port of Marseille. The collective power was transmitted through this intergenerational organization of 37 dancers and, in fact, will be ten times greater. “
