Barcelona has shown interest in Manchester City’s left-back Angelino reportedly.
Angelino joined PSV Eindhoven City last summer, but made 12 appearances, part of them in the league, before being loaned to RB Leipzig in January.
The left-back showed his potential in Germany, where he played 17 appearances in all competitions, while Leipzig qualified for the Champions League next season, having also reached the semi-finals of this year’s edition.
This era of loans has already expired, as has the option to buy Leipzig, which its long term is in the hands of the City.
According to several sources, adding the news agency PA, the Daily Mail, the Independent and Sky Sports, Barcelona has researched to point out Angelino.
Ronald Koeman is one of the first reinforcements for his team following his appointment as coach Azulgrana, and is interested in signing for Angelino, who last played in his local Spain on loan at this time in the Mallorca department in 2017.
Man City said in Barcelona, as well as Leipzig, that they were looking for 30 million euros for Angelino. This is the price originally agreed as Leipzig’s option to buy the unit.
Barcelona has yet to make a formal offer for Angelino, but since they can sell Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo as part of their summer reconstruction, they will have to sign as a left-back.
Angelino still has three years left on the contract he signed on his return to Manchester last summer.
