With the passing movement window, football clubs adopt fast-moving methods to stick to their increasingly powerful rivals.
The era of the Galactics of Real Madrid, for example, saw them embark on a frenzy to buy some of the biggest football superstars in the world to create a super team at the Santiago Bernabéu. Fast forward for nearly two decades, and the same club has still invested heavily in players, albeit with a contrasting focus.
From established superstars, Los Blancos recruited some of the world’s maximum productive youth, a strategy that has been followed through clubs among the European elite. In fact, 4 of the ten most beloved players of all time (!) They were over 23 or younger at the time of purchase, and they all came here in the last decade.
As young skill is basically sought through clubs such as Real, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and others, the direction in which football is headed is evident. The skill of promising young people is the long term of the sport.
In this note, let’s take a look at five of Europe’s young players for the 2019/20 campaign.
Bayern Munich recruited Alphonso Davies of Mls for $22 million (a record at the time) as a high potential winger. However, they did know that they had unearthed a jewel with a roof higher than the maximum of players their age.
Davies was a revelation to the Bavarians, but as a defense, not as an extreme. The foreign Canadian became a very good left-back with Hansi Flick, giving them a surreal size in both attack and defense. Blessed with terrifying speed and a hoax with the ball on his feet, Davies broke the record for the fastest player in the Bundesliga.

Beyond the obvious, Davies is an intelligent player who temporarily reacts to situations. The 19-year-old is a competent haggling, a who averaged 3.8 attempts consistent with the game in the UEFA Champions League.
His intelligence is also highlighted by the speed with which he has adapted to any of the five most sensible in the European leagues and a new position to flourish as Bayern’s weapon. With an average of 3.5 tackles and game-consistent interceptions, Davies demonstrated that he can also exclude the opposition ends. Truly a remarkable discovery for German champions and Canadian football.
What would Borussia Dortmund’s new talisman Erling Haaland look like a list of wonders? The Norwegian has made himself known to the World Cup in an excellent way with his performances both in the UCL and in the Bundesliga.
Playing for Red Bull Salzburg in the first part of the crusade, Haaland made sure his first UCL crusade was memorable. The Salzburg striker started four games (with two subheadings) with his former club and scored 8 surprising goals in that period, with one assist. Haaland finished his season as UCL’s second top scorer (ten goals), behind only Robert Lewandowski.

He moved to Dortmund this winter and has thirteen goals and two assists in 15 games, proving that he is able to adapt to a more competitive league. The demanding Norwegian is equipped with an athletic physique, a strong sense of positioning in the last 3 and, above all, the ability to locate the network through any means necessary. It doesn’t matter if it’s two yards or 20 yards.
With rumors already suggesting that clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United will look to get him away from the BVB in the near future, it’s only a matter of time before he moves to an elite club.
