One of the coaches linked with a possible move to Juventus to update Max Allegri is Thiago Motta.
Currently training in Bologna, Motta is impressing in Serie A and his team has a chance to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Juventus are keeping a close eye on several coaches for the post-Allegri era, aiming to find a replacement who can improve the team’s performance.
While Juventus are experiencing a dip in form, there is a chance that Bologna will overtake them in the league standings in the coming weeks.
Motta has also attracted interest from other clubs, with clubs such as Barcelona and Liverpool for his checkpoints.
His agent, Alessandro Canovi, recently answered questions about Motta’s long-term term and whether he would leave Bologna.
He said, quoted by Calciomercato:
“Will you stay in Bologna? I can’t say because I don’t have negotiations with anyone. You can’t communicate about things that don’t exist.
“The big name stage? Xabi Alonso’s confirmation at Bayer Leverkusen has opened up several bids for Liverpool and Bayern Munich. In addition to Barcelona, there are 3 attractive benches that are highly coveted at the moment.
Juve FC says
Motta has been one of the league’s coaches this season and we may gain advantages by having him as our next coach.
He does a job at a small club and will probably do more work in a bigger, more well-resourced team.
