Thiago Silva ranks fifth on the list of players who have lost in the market

Transfermarkt, a specialist in movement pricing and knowledge of football players, has published a list of players who have lost price on the market since January 2015.

The only Brazilian among the ten most sensitive is the defense of Paris Saint-Germain Thiago Silva. The one who leads the list is Colombian striker Falcao Garcia, lately at Chelsea, on the side of the Premier League. Former Brazilian national team captain Thiago Silva occupies the fifth position, with a depreciation of 20 million euros. The online website reports that Thiago Silva valued 40 million euros in January last year. Colombia’s Falcao García is the most sensible on the list with a difference of 32 million euros. It is now worth 23 million euros, whereas before that figure it is 55 million euros. The list also holds Frank Ribery in position at the moment and former Manchester United players Robin van Persie in third. The other Brazilians who look like Dante 15, with a depreciation of 12 million euros, and Leandro Damio, who also suffered a loss of 12 million euros.
