Charlton signed defender Thierry Small after he was released on transfer deadline day via Southampton.
At the age of 16 years and 176 days, he was the youngest player at Small Everton in 2021 before the Saints won the race to sign him that summer.
The 19-year-old left-back has a contract until the end of the season, with an option for a further year at the club.
“I’m excited and positive about the future,” Small said on Addicks’ website.
Small played just forty-five minutes for the Saints first team, in February 2022, and was loaned out to Port Vale and St Mirren last season, returning to the latter in this crusade and appearing five times in the SPL.
