Three temples stripped of their gifts overnight.
The robberies began shortly before 1 a. m. on Oct. 8, when an unidentified man broke into a temple near Bayly Street and Krosno Boulevard. Although the police did not specify it, the nearest temple in this domain is the Aruljothy Sivan Temple. A Tamil Hindu cult position.
Witnesses temporarily called Durham Regional Police, but the man fled before officials arrived. Investigators uncovered security footage of the man breaking into donation boxes and making off with a huge sum of cash.

Police described the thief as being five feet nine inches tall and dressed in a blue surgical mask, a black puffer jacket with a tight-fitting zipper hood, green camouflage pants and green sneakers. He walked with a noticeable limp.
