Although the NBA season is underway, the Minnesota Timberwolves are targeting 2021-22.
Minnesota, in addition to the seven other organizations that did not participate in Orlando Bubble, is leading a program in the market with scrums within the team and organizational education in a campus-like controlled environment.
Although the program is voluntary, the Timberwolves expect a giant contingent to participate on the team’s list. In Phase 1 of the program, consisting of voluntary individual education and COVID-19 testing, several players returned to Minneapolis, adding Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, etc.
“We’re excited about the engagement point we have and we’re going back to the competition,” chief coach Ryan Saunders said.
On Wednesday, this contest can begin with Phase 2 of the Timberwolves In-Market program. Phase 2 will come with organizational practices, skill and conditioning sessions, and game-type scrums in addition to continuing testing.
And while the cash game is attractive, the opportunities for off-court team consolidation are equally exciting.
“This is a special opportunity for us after the complicated stop of the march . . . there are a lot of paintings to be made alone in the box but out of the box,” said basketball operations president Gersson Rosas.
Timberwolves. com and social networks of the team will have as their policy the In-Market program for the consumption of fans.
