EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Alejandro Pozuelo scored in the 76th minute to give Toronto FC a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night.
The seventh purpose of the season of Pozuelo the winner. Ayo Akinola tied for Toronto in the 58th minute with his seventh purpose of the season.
Philadelphia temporarily took the lead when Sergio Santos scored from nearby diversity in the 5th minute.
Toronto (9-2-4), at his transitional home in Connecticut, is undefeated in five games.
Jozy Alitdore of the Union left the match in the 53rd minute after a détente in the hamr tendon.
