Tosin Adarabioyo confirms after passing Chelsea’s medical in a message to Fulham fans

Tosin Adarabioyo says he will “always cherish” his time at Fulham before his move to Chelsea.

The centre-back has turned down several offers of new contracts to leave Fulham this summer as a free agent.

Newcastle talks to him, while Manchester United were also admirers, but Chelsea reportedly presented better personal conditions than Newcastle and won the race to sign him.

Since then, he passed a medical before the first signing of the Enzo Maresca era at Stamford Bridge.

The 26-year-old Adarabioyo, who joined Fulham from Manchester City in 2020, posted a message on social media on Thursday thanking Fulham enthusiasts and the club.

He said: “As we have a new bankruptcy ahead of us, I would like to thank everyone at Fulham Football Club over the past 4 years.

“With the coach, the staff, my teammates and my supporters, we created perfect memories that I will cherish tenderly. I wish you all the best for the future.
