TOFFEES TRIUMPH
Liverpool are the defending Premier League champion, but there may be a team to follow at Merseyside this season.
Carlo Ancelotti filled his Everton team with new recruits for today’s Tottenham, and they all stood out when the Toffees won impressive 1-0 winners.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s brilliant headbutt made a difference on the scoreboard but, in truth, they were amazing throughout the area with James Rodriguez showing off his talent in his early days.
The 1-0 result flattered Tottenham, who struggled to fit into his face parts for long periods, especially after half-time.
Then, while Everton is on the rise, Jose Mourinho has much to go ahead of next week’s southampton vacation.
In the meantime, thank you for your reading and your evening.

MUCH TO LOVE ANCELOTTI
The Everton technician spoke of his joy at today’s victory and the first of his new recruits:
“The game is good. Here’s what I expected from the team. We were comfortable on the floor.
“Players who can play football don’t want much time to adjust. I told them to show their quality and they did.
“The mix of midfielders is good. Last year we had a lot of quality midfielders with the ball, but you have to play football without the ball.
“We looked at the physical facets (when Rodriguez signed). James is not the fastest player in the world, but he has a lot of quality. If I was worried about the physical appearance, I would have signed Usain Bolt.
“I think after a long era of suffering, they (Everton fans) will be happy. “
JOSEPH SPEAKS
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho gave a frank post-match interview with Sky Sports after his loss to Everton:
“I’m with the performance.
In the first part we had the most productive occasions and there were some Pickford stops.
“At the time of half, we couldn’t create after scoring the goal. They commanded the game and were also harmful in the counterattack.
“To be honest, the fight began with the way we pressed — or how we don’t try. Our tension was very low, lazy. And when you have lazy tension, you don’t push and you allow your war parts to build in the Back and have quality players.
“The lazy tension at the front creates unbalanced conditions for the rest of the equipment. I also feel like some of my players weren’t fit. For example, Matt (Doherty) struggled with betting on the way he played. -season, and for some it wasn’t even a preseason.
“It’s an excuse for defeat and acting, but with so many referees on the field and on the line, allowing a loose kick to be executed five meters from foul is very strange.
“But congratulations to my dear friend Carlo. “
DOM KNOWS HIS STUFF
Everton winner Dominic Calvert-Lewin also talked about newcomers at Goodison Park, as well as Jamie Redknapp, his goal:
“I’m satisfied to be on the adjustment sheet and when you get the 3 points, it’s an even greater feeling.
“It’s a wonderful ball from Lucas, With the quality it has, I just have to be in the domain and be in a position to say hello. Luckily it happened today.
“With newcomers, it is vital that we have a smart start. We didn’t have much time to get married, yet he seemed cursed today. They all won their individual battles and we played well.
“I think the two guys in the area (Allan and Doucoure) were fantastic. They have legs.
“I’m so excited! I’m getting ahead of the game today with the quality we brought. “
DOUCOURE RAVIS
One of Everton’s new recruits, Abdoluaye Doucoure, spoke to Sky Sports after the game:
“It’s a dream to start for all of us. We worked very hard today. It’s been a wonderful week, the coach focused on the game and we’re very pleased to have the win in the end. “
“I only trained 3 times with the team, but I kept my way to be in a position with the team. Coaches have a lot of confidence in me and I have to give him that confidence on the field.
“With James and Allan’s signings, it’s a big plus for us. It’s a smart win for us today and if we keep going like this, it can be a smart season for us. We need to move to Europe. “

NICE ONE RICHARLISON
James Rodriguez would possibly get applause, but his arrival also allowed Richarlison to shine.
? Most Ball Recovered (12)
? More Tickets (5)
? Most takeaways (10)
? Most (7)
It only lacks one purpose (which it has had in the first half)

FT: TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s headbutt in the part of the moment earned Carlo Ancelotti’s men the victory, and it’s the least they deserved, as their new recruits shone on their debut.
PEEEEEEEEP !!
EVERTON CLAIMS THE THREE POINTS !!
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
90 3. Hojbjerg sends a centre to Everton’s domain with Tottenham players running into the area, but is a catch of Jordan Pickford.
This was a sure demonstration of the critically criticized English cap.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
90 1. A definitive replacement for James Rodriguez’s retirement.
He was calmer in the part of the moment as he was tired but showed symptoms of his elegance at various events of his day.
Tom Davies will play the best moments instead.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
90. Davies looks for Are the area, but the center has too much speed and the striker is not able to control.
Allan helps keep the ball out of danger, just as Gary Neville calls him his party boy.
There will be 4 minutes of extra time to play.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
88. Visitors descend the stopwatch with a replacement.
Moise Kean is in Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is looking for the most likely winner.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
87 Years have passed since Tottenham last lost the inaugural weekend, we are told in a commentary.
It’s 3 minutes more stops to repeat.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
85. Yellow card for Hojbjerg, debutant of Tottenham.
The midfielder has struggled today, and when his teammates don’t do much to keep Richarlison from approaching the band line, he takes the subject into his own hands.
His false interpretation brings the first precaution of Martin Atkinson’s game.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
83. Everton’s impressive and dominant game.
Allan and Doucoure blend brilliantly with taps before it slides into Calvert-Lewin. The striker’s shot goes straight into Lloris’ throat.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
80. In another corner, half the opportunity will beg the host.
Alderweireld pitched a Son centre for Davies, but the Welsh man couldn’t make a touch when he tried to hook the goal.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
78. Lucas Moura wins a corner for the Spurs when the house team desperately wants it.
Son’s next release outperforms a crowd of players on the first pole, almost surprising Kane when he makes contact. The result is a headbutt that passes over the crossbar.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
75. Doherty’s debut is over. Ndombele’s in his place.
At least Joseph is to blame now.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
74. Even Coleman imagines his now.
Everton’s pattern tests Lloris with sustained effort from a distance but remains retained.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
72. Sigurdsson’s beautiful move while ridiculing Son in midfield.
Visitors make their way through richarlison’s gently escaping Doherty.
The Brazilian is on purpose and is back very close to an everton moment of purpose.
TOTTENHAM 0 EVERTON 1
69. The Spurs recorded their first attempt at the moment and it is a little valuable to talk about it.
I will, however: a weak headbutt of Lucas Moura is in Pickford.
Immediately, in the end, Richarlison fires a shot that frizzs a metre wide from Lloris’ left post.
