Maddison 41′, Kulusevski 72′, Solanke’; Diaz 23′, 85′, Mac Allister 36′, Szoboszlai 46′, Salah 54′, 61′

I’m not sure this needs to end.

In what will be the last action for either player, Mo Salah sets up Luis Diaz in a trade that he led on the left.

Wow.

It’s over yet, at least completely.

Brennan Johnson heads a cross back into the thick of the box and Dominic Solanke slides it past Alisson.

Maybe? The least maybe, maybe!

It is special.

Heung-min is pushing Kulusevski on the step of Alisson’s door, however, Virgil Van Dijk’s head gets a piece of the pass.

No matter, Dejan Kulusevski changes club and pulls out a side-volley to beat the Liverpool keeper in the 72nd minute.

It’s getting ridiculous. Liverpool Surge Forward and Szboszlai dive in for Salah to settle at home. Every time they are shown, Liverpool looks like a score. There are more than 30 minutes left.

Another long ball from above catches Spurs, while Szoboszlai turns Forster, but hits his shot on the side coast.

Tottenham handles the Gakpo, Díaz and Salah movement. Blank spurs on the Gakpo cross while 4 Liverpool players align to finish. Salah ends up doing it. Finished game? Probably.

Look from Liverpool so harmful every time they appear. Salah whips a cross towards the distant post that is too long for Gakpo. It is so simple for Liverpool. The center of the tottenham field completely overwhelmed.

Here’s my mind as Liverpool sail into the break. But you know with Spurs. . .

3-1 to Liverpool right on half time! Another long ball forward catches out Tottenham. Salah charges through and sets up Szoboszlai to slot home. Again, way too easy for Liverpool. Tottenham’s hopes of a comeback dealt a severe blow.

Tottenham is back! James Maddison returns home after Kulusevski and Mac Allister crash. The game starts before halftime!

A medium on the surface goes to the purpose of Szoboszlai and deviates in the trajectory of Mac Allister. He surpasses Forster, who was captured in Nomansland and probably staying in his line. Too simple for Liverpool.

Liverpool presses above and the ball disregards Diaz to the edge of the field. His satin shot goes to the most remote corner, but Forster goes well and saves.

1-0 to Liverpool! Trent Alexander-Arnold with an amazing cross from the right and Luis Diaz heads home. No VAR check on Diaz this year.

Maddison plays a lovely ball to Son and Szoboszlai seems to trip him up with Son is going through. That is a bit lucky from a Liverpool perspective. That looked like a foul on Son.

Mohamed Salah with a ridiculous competition to beat two defenders, then hugs in a way with a shot that moves the crossbar. Liverpool put pressure on Tottenham in the most sensitive part of the area and continue to win it. The spurs faint.

The spurs look at the inflection of Kulusevski in the early counterattack and down to their right. Select Sarr after a Mazy race, however, Senegalese midfielder simply shoots. Alisson hastened a little to which he had a cover.

A ball in from the right finds Salah, who may have just been offside, but his clever flick is saved well by Forster. Szoboszlai then drills a shot on goal but Spurs get in a brilliant block. Liverpool doing all the pressing early on.

Forster is whilst gambling it directly in Salah in the penalty box. But Salah pierces his low shot and just after the post. Forster gets away with a there. A few moments later, Diaz wore a widely wide.

Welcome to Tottenham! It’s very festive here in North London. The Christmas Bangers escaping and I hope we see some cookies on the floor today. This promises to be one of the games of the season, with neither group at the back in recent weeks and full of attackers. What about taking us in the Christmas season? Camf!

Angel Spurs Postcoglou are back on the right track through beating Manchester United 4-3 in the League Cup on Thursday to succeed in the semi-finals. And in the Premier League, they beat Southampton 5-0 last weekend. Sound, Maddison and Kulusevski were all at their most sensible and Tottenham are incredibly difficult to shoot sensibly when they are at their best. We all know they have major defensive upheavals in terms of injuries with Radu Dragusin and young Archie Gray (playing out of position) starting, but Spurs also allow their warring parties to create so many chances. Their recent 4-3 defeat at the opposite home to Chelsea showed the right and bad sides of their approach, but they are in touch with the top four.

Liverpool remain top of the Premier League table but that may not be the case by the time they kick off on Sunday. Chelsea are just two points behind them and play earlier on Sunday and although Liverpool have a game in-hand, it seems like those two heavyweights are set to unexpectedly battle it out for the title. Slot’s much-changed side won 2-1 at Southampton in midweek to reach the League Cup semifinals but they have dropped points in each of their last two Premier League games, drawing against Newcastle and Fulham as some defensive issues have cropped up.
