Uncertain, whoever ends.
In what will be the last action for both players, Mo Salah prepared Luis Díaz for an exchange he directed on the left.
Wow.
It’s not over yet, at least not quite yet.
Brennan Johnson directed a cross the thickness of the box and Dominic Solanke slid it past Alisson.
Maybe? The least maybe, maybe!
This is something special.
Heung-Min Son tries to cut down Dejan Kulusvski on Alisson’s goal, Virgil Van Dijk’s header earns a pass.
No matter, Dejan Kulusevski changes club and pulls out a side-volley to beat the Liverpool keeper in the 72nd minute.
This is becoming ridiculous. Liverpool surge forward and Szboszlai squares for Salah to slot home. Every time they come forward Liverpool look like scoring. There is over 30 minutes to go.
Another long ball over the top catches out Spurs as Szoboszlai rounds Forster but slams his shot into the side-netting.
Tottenham handles the move Gakpo, Diaz and Salah. Spurs transparent in the middle of Gakpo, while 4 Liverpool players line up to finish. Salah ends up doing it. Game over? Probably.
Liverpool seems so dangerous every time it manifests. Salah launches a center towards the second post that is too long for Gakpo. It is very simple for Liverpool. Tottenham midfielder completely overwhelmed.
Here’s my mind as a part-time Liverpool cruiser. But you know with Spurs. . .
3-1 against Liverpool at half time! Another long ball ahead takes Tottenham out. Salah rates and prepares Szoboszlai to return home. Once again, this is too simple for Liverpool. Tottenham’s comeback hopes have taken a major blow.
Tottenham are back! James Maddison is recovering at home after the collision of Kulusvski and Mac. Game before half-time!
A junction in the box heads towards Szoboszlai’s goal and breaks out on Mac Allister’s trail. He moved ahead of Forster, who was trapped in Nomansland and probably remained in his line. Too simple for Liverpool.
Liverpool presses the top and the ball digs Diaz out on the edge of the box. His low shot reaches the corner, but Forster is going down well and saves.
1-0 to Liverpool! Trent Alexander-Arnold with a right cross and Luis Diaz heads home. There is no var to see in Díaz this year.
Maddison plays with the ball of a charming son and Szoboszlai is to make him stumble with his son. He is a bit fortunate from the point of view of Liverpool. It seemed like a failure in his son.
Mohamed Salah with a ridiculous piece of skill to beat two defenders, then he somehow squeezes through a shot which hits the bar. Liverpool are pressing Tottenham high up the pitch and keep winning it back. Spurs can’t get out.
The spurs look at Kulusevski’s inflection on the early counterattack and down to his right. He selects Sarr after a mazy run, however, the Senegalese midfielder simply shoots. Alisson hurried a little to the one who had it covered.
A ball from the right Salah, who would possibly be out of play, however, his clever film is well stored through Forster. Szoboszlai then drills a shot into the goal, but the spurs are located in a brilliant block. Liverpool does everything urgent from the beginning.
Forster gets a clearance all wrong as he plays it straight to Salah in the penalty box. But Salah drills his shot low and just past the post. Forster gets away with one there. A few moments later Diaz curls one harmlessly wide.
Welcome to Tottenham! It’s very festive here in North London. The Christmas Bangers escaping and I hope we see some cookies on the floor today. This promises to be one of the games of the season, neither of the two groups at the back in recent weeks and full of attackers. What about taking us with us in the Christmas season?

Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs are back on court as they beat Manchester United 4-3 in the League Cup on Thursday to succeed in the semi-finals. And in the Premier League, they beat Southampton 5-0 last weekend. Son, Maddison and Kulusevski were in the target and Tottenham are incredibly difficult to let go of sensitive when they are at their best. We all know they have major defensive upheavals in terms of injuries with Radu Dragusin and young Archie Gray (playing out of position) expected to start, but the spurs also allow their warring parties to create so many opportunities. Their recent 4-3 home defeat to Chelsea showed the rights and mistakes of their approach, but they are in touch with the four most sensible.
Liverpool remain top of the Premier League table but that may not be the case by the time they kick off on Sunday. Chelsea are just two points behind them and play earlier on Sunday and although Liverpool have a game in-hand, it seems like those two heavyweights are set to unexpectedly battle it out for the title. Slot’s much-changed side won 2-1 at Southampton in midweek to reach the League Cup semifinals but they have dropped points in each of their last two Premier League games, drawing against Newcastle and Fulham as some defensive issues have cropped up.
