TOTTENHAM fans were heartbroken after their own club’s online page published a massive hint confirming that Harry Kane would sign for Bayen Munich.
It appears the England captain is waiting for Tottenham’s green light to finalise a £104m move until Friday after a breakthrough in talks on Thursday night.
Athletic’s David Ornstein believes “personal conditions” have been worked out for Kane to join the German giant on a four-year contract.
He followed Spurs alarming fans through their “greatest player of all time” in the dazzling images, leaving only his attacker Son Heung-min.
Kane, 30, only wants to pass a medical before completing a move, provided Tottenham accept Bayern’s new offer.
England’s most sensible goalscorer is under contract until next summer.
But he was seduced by Bayern, who offered him a double salary and, above all, the possibility of winning the silver medal despite everything.
Spurs fans went from fear to devastation as Thursday night’s breakthroughs unfolded.
One of them posted: “Absolutely exhausted, it hurts. He gave us so many moments but, if we are honest, we never support his ambition. Our greatest player of all time. “
Another said, “It hurts, brother. “
Fans had begun to lose hope when they saw Son’s solo footage.
A third revealed: “My son, alone, hit me hard. “
But as the Spurs prepare to lose Kane after a 12-year season, one fan tried to look on the bright side: “This has to be Sonny’s season. “
