Son Heung-min scored the winner as Tottenham rallied from a goal down to beat Luton and move into the Premier League’s top four.
Tahith Chong’s well-worked goal had given the Hatters an early lead, however, Spurs responded well and equalised early in the second half when Brennan Johnson’s cross went into his own net through Issa Kabore.
Spurs laid siege to Luton’s goal after restoring parity, but a series of important last-chance tricky situations kept Ange Postecoglou’s side at bay, with Alfie Doughty preventing Johnson’s point-blank shot from crossing the line.
However, there is nothing Luton can do about Son’s winning goal, which deflected half-time substitute Daiki Hashioka when he beat Hatters goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.
Aston Villa will regain fourth place with a draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers later on Saturday.
