Player ratings from Tottenham Hotspur’s Week 17 clash with Liverpool are obviously slanted to the big-winning visitors to north London.
[More: Spurs vs Liverpool recap | 3 We learned]
This is how we saw the day of the Spurs in the rear and the ruthless day of Liverpool in the front.
Fraser Forster: four. I will do nothing for the first objective and the moment is also a great demand, but it takes it to react anyway if he is going to make a great obstacle. Four blockages and five goals granted on the 3. 50 goals expected in the goal.
Djed Spence: four – A little nervous, he looked for the same ball as Gray in the second goal and couldn’t close down the forwards or Porro on the other side. I blocked 3 shots but everything went wrong.
Archie Gray: Five: He looked at his age several times and discovered to his cost that you can play Mo Salah well and see the possibility of breaking the crossbar.
Radu Dragusin: 4 – Take several possible options that avoid getting involved in defensive moments.
Pedro Porro: 5. 5 – Responsible for a purpose but also one of the Spurs players who constantly generates in the opposite direction. A maximum of 14 passes in the final third.
Yves Bissouma: 5.5 — Did what he could in front of a struggling back line during the first half, then joined them in a dismaying second 45 minutes.
Papa Sarr (OFF 68′): five – See Bissouma’s note, minus the last 22 minutes.
Heung-min son (82′): 5. 5 – For that, but sloppy. A lazy or even sarcastic offside stopped one of the Spurs.
James Maddison (OFF 58 ‘): 7 – If it is true about Mercuriel Maddison, it is presented for important matches. Great goal.
They leave Kulusvski: 8. 5 – helped cause Maddison’s goal and was intelligent every day on a day in which his teammates fought to achieve it.
Dominic Solanke: 7-Hunger for the ball in the first half, bounced, scored a purpose and won a decisive pass.
Replacements Bennan Johnson (from five8′): 6 – Worked hard, received a decisive pass. Lucas Bergvall (out of five8): five: brutal on Liverpool’s latest goal. Timo Werner (in 82′): – N/A
Alisson Becker: 6 – I’m not going to prevent any of the goals. I didn’t have much else to do.
Andy Robertson: 6 – Choose your position to advance.
Virgil van Dijk: 8 — Not at fault for the goal. Good with the ball while ringing up 11 defensive actions. A remarkable 9-for-9 in duels.
Joe Gomez: 7 — Much of the same as Van Dijk, just not as strong.
Trent Alexander-Arnold: nine – He had full hands and feet with Heung-min Son, but, my God, the vision and the passes when Liverpool have the ball. Magnificent to lend a hand to Díaz. He led the game in touches and created chances. He also led the game in defensive actions.
Ryan Gravenberch: 6.5 — Busy and clean but somehow not truly registering a strong mark on the game.
Dominik Szoboszlai: 8-won Mac Allister’s goal with a header and then scored another one. He wins almost every duel. Between Szoboszlai, Diaz and Salah, the trio managed 20 shot attempts.
Alexis Mac Allister (out of 68 ‘): 7 – I did a lot of good, adding writing down the purpose of the reds, but lost the ball in the purpose of the Spurs in the middle, then earned him a point. Four interceptions and nine recoveries.
Mohamed Salah (Off 87′): 9.5 — Smashed the cross bar early and gave the Spurs left side real headaches. Great reverse to Szoboszlai for the third goal before becoming the finisher to continue his assault on the Premier League season and career record books. Then set up Diaz’s second. Top, top, top form.
Cody Gakpo (out of 68′): 7 – Solid but spectacular.
Luis Díaz (87′): nine – What a diving header to open the scoring and brilliant paintings to start and end the sixth goal.
Subscurtis Jones (out of 68′): 6 – Good with the ball, doing a lot without it. Diogo Jota (68): 6 – who sets aside a chance of a header in a bloodbath. Harvey Elliott (87′): – N/Adarwin Núñez (87′): – N/A
