Tottenham signals Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg agreement as major monetary points emerge

A large amount of resources showed tonight that an agreement had been reached between Tottenham and Southampton on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Reports linking Danish midfielder Hojbjerg to a north London midfielder have been plentiful for several weeks.

The 25-year-old has been running at St. Mary’s for 4 years since arriving in Southampton from Bayern Munich.

The last few seasons have noticed that Hojbjerg plays an increasingly vital role in the Saints’ ranks in the middle of the park, which eventually led to Ralph Hasenhuttl calling the midfielder the new captain of his team in December 2018.

After betting on the whole of Hasenhuttl to the fullest of this last campaign, between Hojbjerg and Southampton they have begun to get worse in recent months.

This eventually led to the Dane getting rid of Southampton’s captaincy, due to his refusal to put a pen on paper in a new contract.

The move, in turn, raised the hypothesis that Hojbjerg is about to spend this summer, with players like Everton and Manchester City as possible touchdown sites.

This is another Premier League team, however, which has long been the favourite of former Bayern youth.

The one in question? Tottenham.

It is known that José Mourinho is looking for reinforcements at the base of his team’s midfield this summer, He pointed out Hojbjerg as the ideal complement.

And, as mentioned above, according to a number of leading resources tonight, the Spurs have secured their man.

Southampton has reportedly accepted an offer from the Lilywhites, with an official announcement now imminent:

A review of the main monetary points of the agreement was also published tonight.

Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Southampton gets 15 million pounds upfront, plus an additional four million pound prospect in bonuses:

Tottenham has hired Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hujbjerg on a five-year contract on a 15 million pound contract, emerging at 19 million pounds. 25yo will go through medical exams early next week before closing the deal with Jose Mourinho’s first summer recruit @TheAthleticUK #THFC #SaintsFC https://t.co/Y7xnija4b4

Spurs reporter Dan Kilpatrick, meanwhile, suggests that Kyle Walker-Peters, who had a part of a successful moment of the season on loan at St Mary’s, deserves to register for Southampton permanently, i.e. the Spurs win only the 3rd. millions, plus his disgraced cap, for Hojbjerg.

#thfc Understand the donations accepted through the Spurs and Saints for Hojbjerg and Walker-Peters. Some conflicting facts about final costs, but keep in mind that there is a difference of 3 million pounds. Spurs are paying well 3 million pounds plus KWP per PEH.
