Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly “ready to play down” Chelsea with an “early” bid for England from Conor Gallagher.
The central midfielder is expected to end his contract at the end of next season and is yet to dedicate his long career to the Premier League giants.
Gallagher was originally due to leave Chelsea in last summer’s transfer window as part of a first refurbishment. He connected with Tottenham and West Ham, but ended up staying.
