Tottenham tries to hijack Arsenal’s play for the Bayern winger

Tottenham manager Angel Postecoglou says his side are not done with their move business in the existing window and are now connected with a Bundesliga star wanted through Arsenal.

After adding a center forward with the signing of Dominic Solanke, the next step for the Mavens will be the search for a winger in a position to play in the first team.

This has been noted by Tottenham about Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman, who has recently been linked with Arsenal.

Spurs lost out to their London rivals in their pursuit of an open player who was already in the existing window after seeing Pedro Neto slip away and end up at Chelsea.

Journalist Steve Kay claimed that Tottenham had added Coman to their squad after two friendlies against Bayern last week.

The journalist added that the French foreigner could simply leave the Allianz Arena in search of consistent playing time and that Spurs could have a merit over other teams in the signing process, as he is represented through CAA Base.

“He is an intelligent player, at the moment he is struggling to get playing time at Bayern, there are many intelligent players there. Many clubs will come after him,” Kay said on KS1 TV about Coman.

“I know that the Spurs are a team that is watching him. Interestingly, he is from the CAA Base, which many Spurs players are connected to, as is Angel Postecoglou.

According to reports from Germany, Coman’s move this summer would be Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern will loan Coman before the transfer market closes due to his salary.

With the Frenchman being a key component of Vincent Kompanay’s strategy this season and said to be earning €17m a year in Bavaria, they hope to find a bidder in the coming weeks.

Manchester City are following Coman’s scenario but have yet to show interest from the company, and Barcelona are expected to part ways with several players ahead of the idea of signing the 28-year-old for next season.

Coman hopes to move to France, but PSG may not be able to sign him.

With Désiré Doué reportedly set to sign for him, the Parisians are wondering if they want to sign any other forwards this summer.
