16:57
OVER! Son plays a cross to nobody in the Everton box and the visitors quickly counter, with Danjuma getting the better of Porro once more. The angle is tight when he takes the shot, and he lifts it just over the crossbar.
16:54
Spurs look to take advantage of the area that Everton leaves behind and Kulusevski intervenes on the pitch from the left. Emerson passed through Patterson to make room for Lo Celso, who was penalised, with a free-kick awarded to the Toffees.
16:53
Gomes’ long ball is a desperate attempt to get his team on the field while playing it away from Calvert-Lewin. However, the score went up and Everton had six minutes to equalise.
16:51
Spurs simply can’t get out of their own role at the moment as Everton continue to push for a late draw. The cross this time came from Garner on the right, but it was too close to Vicario, who caught it in mid-air.
16:48
Yellow card for Dejan Kulusevski
16:46
HAPPY SAVING! Everton now have the momentum and it worked to their left. McNeil’s circular shot from the edge of the box flew over Vicario, and from the resulting corner, Davies made an important block in front of the line to stop Tarkowski’s header.
16:45
Yellow Card Nathan Kenneth Patterson
16:44
Goal André Filipe Tavares Gomes
16:44
Danjuma breaks down the left and has to stick to him in the box. Instead of looking for Beto, he tries to pass him alone, to drill his shot in front of Dier, despite winning a corner.
16:41
In Everton’s latest substitution, Beto comes on for the last 10 minutes plus stoppage time in place of Onana.
16:40
WIDE! Mykolenko passes it to Garner, who lays it at the feet of Gomes when the midfielder’s run recovers. Instead of crossing the goal, he tries to catch Vicario near the post, only to shoot him into the side netting.
16:37
BIG SAVING! They’re brilliant paintings from Kulusevski, who simply needs it more than Patterson as he pulls it away from the ball. He shot before Tarkowski could slide in, but Pickford temporarily reacted to deflect it off the near post.
16:37
Yellow card André Filipe Tavares Gomes
16:35
Third substitution for Spurs now, and it is the attacking player who arrives while Lo Celso replaces Sarr.
16:35
Everton’s frustration shows a bit now as Mykolenko approaches Porro to prevent his run. He has his hands on the right side to prevent his run and gives him a loose kick.
16:33
Everton won their fifth corner of the game and McNeil passed it just over the goalkeeper. He almost controlled to hit it with Branthwaite in front of him, but the referee deemed it a foul before Garner could spot a follow-up cross.
16:31
There is some shoving in the Spurs box and players on both sides struggle to get their foot on the ball. Calvert-Lewin came closest to scoring it, but Davies hooked it in time.
16:28
HAPPY SAVING! Everton committed bodies in attack to fall behind on the counterattack. Spurs pushed forward, with Emerson leading the pace down the left before firing on goal, but Pickford kept him.
16:28
Replacement: Jack David Harrison, Arnaut Danjuma, Adam Groeneveld
16:26
In Spurs’ second substitution of the game, Richarlison is replaced by Hojbjerg, Son will move to play in midfield.
16:25
OFF-RELEASE! Harrison whipped in a cross with the outside of his boot and Garner found space to fire his low shot across the goal. Vicario won, but his shot grazed the side of the post as he exited the game.
16:23
Since winning three consecutive away games in the Premier League against Spurs between 2006-07 and 2008-09, Everton have managed seven draws in 14 visits (W1, D4, L9).
16:21
Spurs temporarily recovered on the fast break and Johnson began to locate a lot of area on the right. Skipp passes it once more, but his cross is too high for everyone as it bounces for a throw-in on the other side.
16:19
HAPPY SAVING! Kulusevski swept Johnson down the right and his first cross was blocked, but it came straight to him. This time he brought Sarr back to the edge of the area, but his shot was blocked through Pickford near the post.
16:17
Spurs are back to keeping possession here, but it’s all in front of Everton. Their main aim is to try and regain their earlier rhythm after it was disrupted by the disallowed goal.
16:16
NO GOAL! The referee is asked to go over to the monitor to have a look at the build-up to the goal. It’s judged that Gomes fouls Emerson as he dispossesses him, and the goal is ruled out. Safe to say, Dyche isn’t happy with that decision at all.
16:14
CALVERT-LEWIN PULLS ONE BACK! Or does he? It’s not the best pass from Vicario to Emerson, but he’s then caught on the ball by Gomes, who then gets his head up to slide in Calvert-Lewin. He takes the shot first time, firing it low into the bottom corner, but VAR is having a look at this…
16:13
Assisted by André Filipe Tavares Gomes
16:12
Target Dominic Nathaniel Calvert-Lewin
16:12
It’s a great move by Spurs in midfield, but their latest pass will defeat them for the time being. Son tries to pass it to Johnson but goes straight past him outside of the game.
16:10
The Spurs started the half on the right foot and were helped by a loose pass from Tarkowski when he presented it to Skipp. He passed the baton to Emerson, who tried to feed Kulusevski, but he was trapped between two defenders and couldn’t.
16:07
Everton get us back under way for the second half!
16:07
Substitution: Cristian Gabriel Romero, Eric Jeremy Edgar Dier
16:01
Postecoglou will be the happier of the two managers at half-time, but considering the disruption Everton have caused them, he probably won’t be comfortable at the moment. After Son’s goal, they didn’t get a single shot and he’s going to need to regain his offensive risk. Everton have shown clever symptoms despite falling behind, and Dyche will know that the next goal can replace everything, his team just want to be more clinical.
15:57
Spurs went into the break with a 2-0 lead over Everton. They got off to a smart start, with Richarlison taking advantage of Johnson’s cross from close range to give Spurs the lead over his former club. Just under 10 minutes later, they doubled their lead when Son was available to break up the rebound on a set piece by Johnson. However, Everton had chances, and Vicario had to make some clever saves to keep Calvert-Lewin, Garner and Harrison out.
15:51
HALF-TIME: TOTTENHAM 2-0 EVERTON.
15:50
McNeil swings a deep corner into the box that clears everyone, but some of the Everton players are just asking a question of the referee. Kulusevski has a fistful of Onana’s shirt to stop him jumping, but nothing’s given.
15:48
HAPPY SAVING! It’s a beautiful pass from Gomes on the left when he passes it to Harrison on the right. He takes it into the box before drilling a low shot into the back corner, but Vicario temporarily drops down to block it.
15:47
Emerson just isn’t limited to Harrison’s runs down the right and has the area to take him back to Gomes this time around. The replacement throws it to Mykolenko, but he didn’t expect it and the ball bounces off his shin and deflects off the goal. mail.
15:45
Everton are starting to feel a lot of joy on their right side now, and Harrison pulls him back out to place Garner back on the edge of defence. He gets his laces on the shot, but Vicario proceeds to keep him close to the post. .
15:43
It’s another clever run from Patterson down the right, but his drop is just Gomes’ own. Mykolenko found it at the far post, but as he slid inside, he hit another ball that was deflected into the field.
15:42
Branthwaite is stepping over the more sensible one and Calvert-Lewin has a Spurs defender on either side of him, with Vicario also running off his line. The attacker pushes him away before the goalkeeper awkwardly grabs his shin with his arm, but the referee temporarily shakes his head.
15:40
It’s better from Everton here as they patiently work it upfield, but it’s all in front of Spurs at the moment. McNeil tries to open up some space down the left, but Porro doesn’t give him any freedom.
15:38
The Spurs have 74 cents of property so far, but they’re starting to get a little complacent in their own half. Emerson proves it this time, but luckily for him, Davies is the one to kidnap him.
15:36
It’s a sloppy pass from the back of Vicario, and Calvert-Lewin stretches to cut it off before passing it to Harrison. His cross went through Romero, but his clearance only found Garner on the edge of the defense. His volley is straight at the goalkeeper.
15:34
Richarlison has scored 4 goals in his last 3 games, doubling his tally from his first 39 games for Spurs (two). He is now the thirteenth player to score against Everton in the Premier League, having played for them in the competition in the past.
15:32
Everton simply can’t get out of their own side at the moment, even if they try to press up the pitch. Richarlison went around them to cross low through the middle, but only Tarkowski was there.
3:30 pm.
Spurs ratchet up the tension and Son spots Kulusevski’s overlapping run down the right with a great shot. He wins a corner, but Porro hits the first man with his shot.
15:27
Onana wraps her arms around Emerson to prevent him from running through the middle. You can’t argue with this yellow card.
15:25
Substitution Idrissa Gana Gueye André Filipe Tavares Gomes
15:24
Yellow card Idrissa Gana Gueye
15:24
Gueye lunged in on Sarr to win the ball back but ended up catching Richarlison with the follow-through. He hurt himself in the challenge, and now goes down in need of treatment.
15:22
Gueye sends a long ball over the top, this time with Garner chasing it down. Vicario leaves his area again, a little hesitant than last time, but comfortably clears his lines.
15:19
Heung-Min’s Son Lens
15:19
LUCK! There were some hearts in the mouths of Spurs fans when Vicario ran out of his locker room to clear a long ball past McNeil. His header fell straight to Calvert-Lewin, who attempted a long-range shot into the empty net, but it went wide open.
15:18
BIG SAVING! Everton are back in the game here and Mykolenko discovers the box on the left to insert a clever cross into the box. Calvert-Lewin got ahead of Davies to head a header into the goal, but Vicario turned it over.
15:17
Patterson came straight back for the visitors, and Calvert-Lewin did well to hold off Skipp long enough to bring him down. He gave it to Onana, who tried a one-two with McNeil, but the return cross shone as soon as the game started. Left.
15:14
IN! This time it took a few passes to get past Everton, as Davies went long towards Son, who spotted Emerson’s overlap. He sent it to Johnson near the post, but he lifted his first shot over the bar. Pickford is furious with his defenders for how simple he has been.
15:13
That goal calmed Spurs down a bit and they look much more comfortable in possession. They are doing very well, but everything is ahead of Everton at the moment.
15:11
Helping Brennan Price Johnson
15:10
Andrade Richarlison’s goal
15:09
The referee gives Spurs credit when Son goes down, but they can’t use it because Skipp is dispossessed. Harrison temporarily knocks on the counter and places it on Calvert-Lewin, but Romero slides to prevent him from firing.
15:08
Tarkowski cuts out Porro’s ball and tries to catch Spurs with a long ball over the top. His pass, however, is played between McNeil and Calvert-Lewin, and neither can come close.
15:06
SAVE! The corner was only partially cleared through Spurs, and it suited Garner on the edge of the box. Like Sarr at the other end of the field, he didn’t catch cleanly and the low shot slipped comfortably through Vicario.
15:05
It’s a poor clearance from Porro, and McNeil is right in front of him to cut it out. He darts down the left, but the Spaniard recovers well to get back and block the cross for a corner.
15:03
SAVE! Davies slid a lovely ball down the left for Kulusevski, who had time to raise his head and spot Sarr’s late run. He met the cross first but fired his volley down the ground and into Pickford’s gloves.
15:01
Richirlison kicks off the Spurs game!
15:01
They are already on the pitch and there are a few moments left before the start of the match!
14:58
Sean Dyche has made just one substitution in the squad that drew with Fulham in midweek. Mykolenko has returned from a groin injury, so he is back in the team. Keane falls to the bench, where Gomes is also named after overcoming a calf injury. .
14:54
Ange Postecoglou makes two adjustments from the last win over Forest, and both apply. Yves Bissouma was sent off in that match, while Destiny Udogie received his fifth yellow card of the season, for which they are suspended. Emerson and Skipp replaced them, and Johnson was able to keep his job despite a head injury. Lo Celso is once again among the substitutes.

14:38
Everton are one of the in-form groups in the Premier League lately. They won all four of their league games in December without conceding a single goal and scoring 8 goals in the process, moving them seven points clear of the relegation zone after their 10-point deduction left them there. The Toffees enter the tournament having lost the EFL Cup quarter-final on Tuesday, having lost by consequence to Fulham 7-6 following a 1-1 draw at aggregate time.
14:34
Spurs have a chance to finish in the top four with a win here today, having turned things around in recent weeks. They have won their last two games against Newcastle United (4-1) and Nottingham Forest (2-0). These two wins add to a run of five games without a win in the league (D1, 4), which has seen them drop from the most sensible places in the table. They also have a smart record against Everton, having lost just one of their last 21 Premier League games against them (10 wins, 10 draws).
