Phoar, what an incredible evening of action.

I would have liked to communicate about that all night, but unfortunately, the time has come for us to separate. Eviscerar, I know.

But I won’t leave without commenting, don’t worry.

Liverpool turned up to north London today knowing they needed a win after going two games without it.

After Chelsea dropped points to Everton, they had the chance to go four points clear at the top with a game in hand.

Boy, oh boy, did they take that chance.

Arne Slot’s side put on a clinic as Luis Diaz and Mo Salah both bagged a brace with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister also finding the net.

In truth, it could have been a lot more, but they were still given a little scare when Spurs nabbed a couple of goals at the end.

All they ended up doing though was make the battering a little less painful for the hosts.

Either way, this is your destination now until Christmas.

I hope everyone has a glorious holiday season and eats all the mince pies they can shove in all likelihood in their mouths.

Merry Christmas!

Now, it’s a difficult game to summarize, isn’t it?

Well, our football editor, Ian Ladyman, gave it a more than brilliant one after witnessing a chaotic 90 minutes.

Me that your opening line tells you the total story, but do not let that come out of reading.

With the amount of objectives, there is much to overcome.

Arne Slot, Chief of Liverpool, speaking with Sky Sports:

By Harry Bamforth

It is not surprising to see Liverpool players smile.

I have already talked about how Dominik Szoboszlai and Mo Salah were today, and it seems that their skills to take selfies are also up to it.

Not a bad day for them, eh?

Dominik Szoboszlai has been today?

The Hungarian has had a topsy-turvy time at Liverpool, I think it’s fair to say.

He began his career at Anfield brilliantly, but enthusiasts have sought more of him in the last 12 months.

Well, they got that today.

It’s through Szoboszlai’s most productive functionality in the red jersey, it’s very good tonight.

From minute one, the midfielder hunted down Tottenham players with real hunger and kept winning the ball.

When he had it, he was brilliant too. He scored one and easily could have had two more, and he linked play together extremely well.

A top performance.

By Harry Bamforth

We all love the Tottenham game, don’t we?

If you’re impartial and watch this Spurs team, you’re still entitled to an unforgettable game.

Today, they played their part in a goal mystery just days after beating Manchester United 4-3.

Yes, there have been goals in their last two games. Crazy.

The Premier League matches of Tottenham, Ange Postoccoou, have noticed that an average of 3. 6 targets obtained a score consisting with the game.

Among those who run 50 or more matches in the competition, this is the appropriate adjustment for any coach.

Tottenham fans have been through hell, that’s for sure.

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah speaking to Sky Sports:

On becoming Liverpool’s fourth all-time leading goalscorer:

By Harry Bamforth

Jamie Carragher, former Liverpool defender, on Sky Sports:

By Harry Bamforth

Yes, it broke a record.

Every week I cover Liverpool, there will be a post about Mohamed Salah breaking some sort of record.

There is a reason why though, it’s because he is in the form of his life.

Tonight, Salah became the first player to achieve double goals and assists before Christmas in a Premier League season.

He has been relentless this season, now having 15 goals and 11 assists in the league and top of the table in both cases.

This is the sixth season of the Premier League in which Mohamed Salah Marca and attends 10 or more goals; Especially the players in the history of the competition.

I mean, I’m one of the superlatives for this man.

By Ian Ladyman at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Apologies for the subtitle, I had to.

This will be the 21st time that Liverpool has made the maximum English intelligent flight on Christmas Day; the maximum anywhere.

They have gone on to win the title in 11 of those previous 20 seasons, so just over a 50 per cent success rate.

Not many other people would bet on them by making 12 out of 21, I wouldn’t.

In fact, it is surprising how well compatibility under the Raja of Arne, temporarily sowing after their arrival.

At the beginning of the season, if you had told me that they would have 4 problems forward of Christmas with one game less, I would never have believed you.

They showed that I and many others were wrong.

By Harry Bamforth

Gary Neville, former man United captain, in Sky Sports:

By Harry Bamforth

Even if I had the idea that we were going to entertain ourselves, it would be the first to admit that I was waiting for it.

Liverpool was dragging, right?

Tottenham may not have the best defence, but to smash six past them away from home is pretty spectacular.

I think that’s what you call a Christmas cookie. . . Sorry.

You have to feel for all the editors who have to put together the highlights package for that match.

It will be one hell of a watch, though. Certainly for Liverpool fans.

By Harry Bamforth

What a match we have just witnessed.

While there is a lot to go by, we just have to start with how smart Liverpool were.

For 70 minutes, Arne Slot’s side were imperious, ripping Tottenham apart at will.

Although the trim finish was a bit chaotic for his taste, it’s still a win.

They take the lead in the Premier League at Christmas with one game less and, word for word, it will be difficult to catch them.

Liverpool are starting to look a little like champions (or is that too early?)

By Harry Bamforth

And breathe . . .

I can’t find the words to describe those 90 minutes, a general carnage.

At the end of it all, Liverpool have shipped six past Spurs away from home to go four points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Not a bad Christmas provision for red dresses.

By Harry Bamforth

It may seem strange, but I’m not sure Arne Slot is too happy with this Liverpool performance.

He is a manager that loves control and the Reds have ended up being sucked into a crazy affair when they were in control.

Interesting to see what he says full time.

By Harry Bamforth

Ah, that’s disappointing.

We are only going to get to watch five more minutes of this chaotic contest.

I would like it to continue forever, I can’t wait to be in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup.

By Harry Bamforth

Tottenham is the most ridiculous team in the history of football. Here, I say it.

They are still coming forward like they believe they can claw all three goals back.

They nearly get one but Alisson gets low to deny Brennan Johnson.

In fact, I can’t what I’m seeing, it’s so silly.

By Harry Bamforth

Arne Slot has had entertainment . . .

The Dutchman Mos Salah and Luis Díaz after the goal.

What a late they passed, they deserve the Man of the Match award.

By Harry Bamforth

Well, it continued for a while!

Tottenham love to give us crackers and those last 10 minutes prove it perfectly.

Luis Diaz has his second and guess what? he was supplied by none other than Mo Salah.

Are you not entertained?

By Harry Bamforth

What is happening ???

Tottenham are alive and kicking, and Dominic Solanke has taken another goal.

It’s a wonderful finish to host Brennan Johnson’s header to give the Sopurs some confidence.

It’s back to a comeback game and I can’t write this.

How intellectual the Spurs are.

By Harry Bamforth

Dejan Kulusevski is quite the Spurs player who can keep his head up after that.

He has been the player who has caused disorders to Liverpool and continues to drive Tottenham forward.

In fact, he is a player.

By Harry Bamforth

I do not have the impression that we have yet noticed the last scorer.

Liverpool are still going for another and it’s become more end-to-end like early in the first half.

Dominik Szoboszlai gets on the end of a great ball, but can’t stay on target.

Moments later Trent Alexander-Arnold sees a cross-cum-shot palmed wide by Fraser Forster.

By Harry Bamforth

Oh, it should be six for Liverpool.

Tottenham are throwing bodies forward and it means there is a lot of space for Liverpool to counter into.

Mo Salah sends Luis Diaz into a gallop and sees Fraser Forster running, so he goes to the LOB.

It goes so high and does not fall in time.

By Harry Bamforth

It’s never finished until it’s finished and Tottenham enthusiasts go out to inspire their team.

The strange thing is on this side, we can’t exclude that they get one here.

If they do that, it will be interesting.

By Harry Bamforth

It is an end of Dejan Kulusevski!

No matter how much Tottenham are getting hammered, they will always keep going forward.

Kulusevklsi volleys a lovely hit past Allisson but doesn’t even summon a smile as he heads back to the halfway line.

Surely they can’t come back from this, eh?

By Ian Ladyman at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Arne Slot decides to rotate the roster because why not?

Diogo Jota runs out replacing Cody Gakpo, while Curtis Jones replaces Alexis Mac Allister.

Barely retrograde. . .

By Harry Bamforth

I want to give a quick word to Joe Gomez.

The Liverpool centre-back has been sensational so far and once back he plays a great role at the back.

Many were worried when Ibrahima Konaté was injured against Real Madrid, but the Reds are in good hands.

By Harry Bamforth

Things may remain worse for Tottenham.

Liverpool are hungry for more and Trent Alexander-Arnold unleashes a stinging effort from 35 yards away.

Fraser Forster tries to pass it past the post, but moments later Luis Díaz tries it again.

It’s relentless, I can’t get awake.

By Matt Barlow at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool is in dreamland!

Actually, I can’t difficult the reds play, they are destroying Tottenham.

Mo Salah has his moment of the night and is TAP-in after radical counterattack.

Cody Gakpo plays Dominik Szoboszlai, slides it to Salah and is wrong.

If it’s a boxing match, it would be over.

By Harry Bamforth

James Maddison is not a happy lad in the slightest.

Tottenham’s scorer sees his number in the air during the fourth official and looks down at the ground.

He is replaced by Brennan Johnson, while Lucas Bergvall is in Pape Sarr.

It is not the easiest game that these young people can participate in.

By Harry Bamforth

How did Dominik Szoboszlai five years?

I am about to press Yetton’s purpose as the Hungarian races through one by one, but no, he goes for Fraser Forster and cannot locate the network.

I mean, if your team had already scored four, I think it would be a little more annoying.

As things stand, I’m sure he’ll get another chance.

By Harry Bamforth

Mo Salah achieves his goal!

Liverpool are tearing Tottenham apart here and now a real beating awaits them.

They slide across the counter with Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz back and forth.

Dominik Szoboszlai can’t get past Gakpo’s house, but Salah is there to get the biggest goal of his career.

It’s getting complicated now.

By Harry Bamforth

The yellow card has come out again.

Dominikl Szoboszlai will now have to be careful after preventing a counterattack from Tottenham.

I still can’t understand how quiet this stadium is, it’s frankly strange.

Even when that could was made they barely made any noise at all.

By Harry Bamforth

It doesn’t seem like the Tottenham fans in this stadium feel there is a way back to this game, they are so deflated.

When this place gets rocking it can change games, but there is no sign of that happening here.

By Harry Bamforth

Trent Alexander-Arnold in a passing masterclass.

The guard pulverizes them in the flavor park and simply threw a ball to Dominik Szoboszlai.

When he plays like this, there is much better.

By Harry Bamforth

This breakup was quick, right?

The two groups are back on the grass and there is no replacement in one or another manager.

And now we are back underway.

Will Tottenham be able to come or will Liverpool continue to strut their stuff?

By Harry Bamforth

The defensive record of Tottenham, Ange Postocoglou, is pants.

Yes, they may sound harsh, but it’s true.

Today Tottenham have conceded the opening goal in 14 different home games in the Premier League in 2024.

This is the record never reached by a team in a calendar year in the competition.

You can’t win anything when you have to come back.

By Aadam Patel At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Mo Salah has his opinion.

He would have possibly scored any of Liverpool’s goals, but of course he controlled to get a decisive pass.

Salah’s setup for Dominik Szoboszlai at the end of the part he has contributed to AIMS in his last nine Premier League games.

That’s simply ridiculous, isn’t it?

By Harry Bamforth

When Liverpool are at their best, my word is to observe.

Arne Slot’s side have played some of the best football I have seen this season and this third goal was just beautiful.

It gives me an idea that Mo Salah had made a bad pass when he brought in Dominik Szoboszlai.

Wow, I’m wrong, huh?

Liverpool fans, look at this beautiful piece of football.

By Ian Ladyman at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

By Harry Bamforth

There are a smattering of boos as the half-time whistle is blown.

Tottenham were absolutely outclassed by the League leaders and Dominik Szoboszlai’s goal before half-time made a complicated request to do it now.

The Reds were in the chimney and may have even gotten more in the day.

They are in northern London.

By Harry Bamforth

What do I know, eh?

Liverpool silenced me with one of the most productive team aims see this campaign.

They flow up the pitch in style and Mo Salah slides through Dominik Szoboszlai for their third.

It has resumed normally.

By Aadam Patel at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

This purpose has replaced the atmosphere in this stadium.

This position was as flat as a pancake while watching their team fight.

But they now have some hope and the fans have woken up.

Liverpool are the team that now need half-time which is not something I thought I would be saying.

By Harry Bamforth

Out of nowhere!

It’s a horror display from Liverpool and the hosts have been given a way back into this game.

Alexis Mac Allister misses the edge of his own and James Maddison then sends the ball into the corner.

A terrible goal to concede, and we have a game all of a sudden.

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool enthusiasts in the are in the festive spirit.

Lately they are their own edition of “O Come, todos usted fieles”.

If their side continue to play like this then it will be a very Merry Christmas for them indeed.

By Ian Ladyman At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool have their second!

Alexis Mac Allister tries to beat a guy with a foot out of him to give the Reds a plentiful lead.

It’s lovely play once again from Liverpool as they work the ball back to front superbly, starting with Joe Gomez.

Andy Robertson then dyed the ball to the posterior post that Dominik Szoboszlai nods for Mac Allister from 3 yards.

Now Tottenham is far away.

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool are playing smart things today, the most productive they have seen since the start of the month opposite Man City.

They simply combined some brilliant passing to beat the Spurs press.

Beautiful, great football.

By Adam Patel at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

By Harry Bamforth

We have our first reservation of the day and is returning to Cody Gakpo.

It actually comes at the end of a really promising Reds counter attack which they should do better from.

Rayn Gravenberch slides the ball to Gakpo, but he loses it and lashes out trying to win it back.

He never left that.

By Harry Bamforth

Tottenham really are clinging on here.

Liverpool have cornered them in their own area and frequently throw damaging crosses and passes.

But somehow, spurs are alive.

They need to get through this next ten minutes or they will be in real trouble.

By Ian Ladyman at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Luis Díaz is in shape today.

This is his best performance in some time and he comes close to grabbing a second in a matter of minutes.

It is heading towards the rear corner at a certain speed, but Fraser Forster crosses and denies it.

By Matt Barlow at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Aadam Patel At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Tottenham will retain in search of an equalizer.

They tried to react and Dejan Kulusevski intervened on the edge of the area.

He gets a decent bending effort away but can’t manage to find the target.

We have one in our hands to all of us.

By Harry Bamforth

What purpose is that!

It’s Trent Alexander-Arnold his as he delivers a sublime cross for Luis Diaz to pass home.

The ball is simply;y ridiculous, that alone should be enough to get him the contract he wants.

He’s also a Diaz boss and no one takes him this time.

Leaders lead to London.

By Ian Ladyman at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

This is starting to get spicy and I love it!

Spurs enthusiasts boo when Domink Szoboszlai and Son Heung-Min combine with the Spur captain to escape.

The referee shakes his head and Liverpool then pollutes, the movement is out of play.

It’s becoming end-to-end like we all hoped for.

By Matt Barlow at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Aadam Patel at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

By Harry Bamforth

So close to the opener for Liverpool.

Tottenham continue to give balls away and this time Salah makes them pay.

He moves the ball to his right foot with 3 players on top and brilliantly unloads a hard effort.

It looks like it’s heading inside, but the cannons are moving out of the bar.

By Harry Bamforth

The opportunities are providing themselves now and Tottenham are making the first in the match.

Pape Sarr explodes deflected, then Liverpool goes straight to the counter.

Mo Salah takes two bites of the cherry after performing the finishing move, but both efforts are blocked.

This comes to life.

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool look threatening in the future, they are.

Luis Díaz succeeds in pinching Pedro Porro’s balloon after a ball passed over it.

He lays it off to Cody Gakpo on the edge of the box, but he leans back and sends the ball toward the stars.

The Dutchman makes it better.

By Harry Bamforth

Djed Spence is in his war with Mo Salah at the moment.

While Salah is still gaining space, Spence is still there to avoid it dry.

This will be a key war in this game.

By Harry Bamforth

Oh my God, what about Trent Alexander-Arnold!

Liverpool full; -Back sees a bullet that no one else on the floor can detect to pass to Mo Salah.

Salah only wants to lend a hand from six meters away, but Fraser Forster suffocates him.

The ball then breaks to Dominik Szoboslzai but his effort is blocked.

By Harry Bamforth

You are certainly not going to see Fraser Forster change to kicking it long, no matter the mistakes he makes.

Since his early error, he has played some nice clipped passes, even while under pressure.

You’ve got to commend his bravery.

By Harry Bamforth

By Harry Bamforth

Liverpool have started really well here.

They are in Tottenham as an eruption and now Luis Díaz makes the decision to make a pop. It is a decent effort, but hangs it right next to the post.

Tottenham fans have fallen silent, the nervous power is evident.

By Aadam Patel at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Fraser Forster, what are you doing?

The Tottenham goalkeeper is having a bad moment in the middle of the week and just takes 3 minutes to make his first big mistake.

He sends the ball straight to Mo Salah and has to back up, but luckily for him, Salah dives into the side net.

There are massive moans from fans of the house.

By Harry Bamforth

Tottenham a bit unstable in the back.

the makeshift defence are under pressure by the Liverpool forward from the gun and Cody Gakpo wins the ball high up the pitch.

The ball is then played to Mo Salah, but the ball is taken out of his feet.

By Harry Bamforth

I am well up for this one, and so are the fans inside the stadium.

The Tottenham fans sing a nice, sweet song before James Maddison starts this Christmas cracker.

Who will emerge victorious?

By Adam Patel at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

By Harry Bamforth

The Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a noise hotbed.

The players enter the box with a massive roar from all 4 stands and I got pumped.

Unfortunately, I have to pay brief attention to the Premier League anthem, but everything goes well with the techno music playing.

If you know me now, you will know that I like songs.

By Harry Bamforth

Oh, Luke, prevent it. You blocked me.

The challenge is that a few hours ago my colleague, Luke calmed me down for skill. . . now he’s looking to be great.

Anyway, you guys don’t really care about how well I can play the sport I am reporting on, or maybe you do.

The stars I get paid to see are about to speak into the ground as the environment deteriorates.

there is currently a lovely light show going on.

By Luke Power

Great news here in Mail Sport HQ: Harry Bamforth is taking this blog by force.

I have heard that it used to be a right setback like Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Good everyone.

By Luke Power

Talk to Sky Sports

Postcoglou Angel:

Harness Location:

By Luke Power

While we’re on Carragher, let’s pay attention to his opinion on Virgil Van Dijk.

By Luke Power

A plain-speaking analysis from a man who knows one or two things about playing for Liverpool on Sky Sports:

Harsh words?

By Luke Power

This is easy to say for the Guyager whose taste of the game is shattered, but it is clear that Postcoglou supports his philosophy. It is a value to hear his point of view in this clip where he defends his offensive taste. This type is going to change.

By Luke Power

Well, we have a great video of Liverpool’s arrival at the stadium and what catches my attention the most is the amount of gum that is chewed.

Does this bring a mental advantage? Is it full of nutrients? Maybe there’s a concept of capability there: how Arne Slot gets Liverpool fired thanks to a draft revolution.

I understood the call.

By Ian Ladyman At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

So here’s one for the stattos.

Nine Premier League games so far this weekend and only one homewin (Aston Villa) recorded and four goals scored.

The home and away overall team before kick-off here at Spurs is between 19 and 19 years old.

Keep in mind what you can say.

By Ian Ladyman At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The first thing here is that the occasions at Manchester United have repercussions on the Tottenham press room.

It may be 13 years since United won the Premier League but their continued struggles remain as fascinating as ever.

Looking ahead to this match, Liverpool had a wider line-up again after their Carabao Cup win at Southampton midweek and I’m interested in the continued exclusion of centre-back Jarell Quansah.

He was about to reach the Eurocup with England (he was part of the original team) and began the first game of Arne Slot in Ipswich in August. But he became addicted in the halftime and has barely noticed him since then.

Joe Gomez gets the header in front of him here in Konate’s absence from Ibrahima.

By Luke Power

Dear, my God.

The spurs come for much ridicule and do not help themselves. Fans were forced to watch a marketing stunt surrounding Netflix’s hit “Squid Game” screen at the stadium.

Revenue, yes, you’d imagine. Points for coolness and aura? Absolutely none. Zilch.

By Luke Power

There’s nothing like an abysmal statistic.

Verify this. Tottenham only won two of his last 25 games opposed to Liverpool. Yes, you read it well. Two. They lost 17. No, in undeniable terms, nor a laugh to play with Jurgen Klopp for the Northern London.

The fact that Liverpool has lost one of its 24 games in all competitions, this crusade increases the probabilities opposite to spurs even more.

By Luke Power

Oh, Trent, are you in or out? Maybe in the middle.

Alexander-Arnold joined the Men in Blazers podcast this week and talked of building a ‘legacy’. You can read his comments either way, either as encouragement that he’ll stay or the opposite.

He asked her what her dreams were like now.

“Of course, to win more trophies. But on a personal level, he’s building a legacy. This is all that is important,” he said.

When asked what he meant by that, he said: “We just communicate with the highest regard, especially after we finished betting. In 10 or 15 years, if you consider me one of the most productive right-backs or the most productive of the moment, that’s why I bet from time to time and that as motivation.

Liverpool enthusiasts hope that the heritage is at Anfield Stone.

By Luke Power

Liverpool are imperious but don’t write off Spurs. Need any encouragement for that? Just check the Man United score – it’s 3-0 to Bournemouth.

The Premier League constantly throws up surprises, though maybe United being hammered is not much of a shock these days. Ruben Amorim had not lost a league game all year at Sporting CP. Hasn’t been so smooth at United.

By Matt Barlow At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

That’s Spurs unchanged from the Carabao Cup QF and a huge show of faith in Djed Spence.

This time last week, he didn’t have an option for the club. Now about to start his third in 8 days, Destiny forward Udogie and opposes Mo Salah and the PL leaders.

He has made very good progress when necessary through Ange Postecoglou, who is evidently not convinced that he is smart enough. This is his greatest proof.

By Luke Power

And that, Spurs fans? An interview with Archie Gray.

He is the type of the moment for Tottenham, fitting very well in the back while fighting with a crisis of injuries. The burned had a skill in their hands, the spurs picked it up, and are now reaping the rewards of this flexible university. Age Starlet.

By Luke Power

Postecoglou must have liked what he saw against Manchester United because he has taken the bold step of naming the exact same team three days later to face a much-refreshed Liverpool side.

Of course, his options are limited. Archie Gray starts again as a makeshift centre-back – not that you’d be able to tell that he doesn’t usually play there from his performances so far.

By Luke Power

Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gómez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberc, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Diaz, Gakpo

Several settings of his Cup Cup Cáabao on Southamtpon, but last weekend, with Alexis Mac Allister replacing Curtis Jones.

By Luke Power

Tottenham XI: Forster, Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son

By Luke Power

Mohamed Salah is lucky to identify any other top league records today as he may be the first star in the festival’s history to record double goals and assists before Christmas Day.

He’s currently on 13 goals and nine assists, so just needs to set up a team-mate.

Who knows, with his long career in the air, this may be his last chance to break that record.

By Aadam Patel at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium

By Luke Power

Few of those who were there will be forgetting this one in a hurry.

Liverpool was reduced to nine men after Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota were expelled, then Joel Matip changed on the ball in his in the 96th minute to give the victory of the Spurs.

There is no possibility that it will be reduced with Matip now retired, however, spurs will be sure that they have taken the 3 points.

At Anfield, it finished 4-2 to Liverpool.

By Luke Power

Compulsory reading, this.

James Sharpe is immersed in statistics to analyze how Liverpool to his winning iteration of the title in 2019-20, that season devastated by Covid.

It is easy that Liverpool have won 26 of their first 27 games this season, drawing the other. Their first defeat was 3-0 at the hands of Array. . . Watford. Somehow, they don’t have a record for total points in the league, but we were still a phenomenal team.

By Luke Power

A rare access that arose from Arne’s mouth during the week, when he said he would like to see Angel Postocoglou to win a trophy, although not at a festival in which Liverpool is located.

Postecoglou has faced pressure recently, wirth his gung-ho attacking style drawing criticism.

“I’m just satisfied that we have coaches like him who need to play with this football logo and that’s why I hope he wins something,” Slot said.

All subtleties, however, could not buy postcoglou favors of their opposite number today.

By Luke Power

Hello and welcome to Mail Sport’s blog about today’s Premier League clash between Tottenham and Liverpool.

With Chelsea currently drawing at Everton, this could represent an opportunity to Arne Slot’s men to extend their Premier League advantage.

And how much they are going to need that. The Reds have faltered slightly in recent weeks, drawing with Newcastle and Fulham.
